Hey guys! This is Lauren! I'm going to show you a DIY that I'm doing
to my phone case. My phone case was originally white, and I've
colored it with a Sharpie. So now, I'm going to take this highlighter
and color over it a little because the Sharpie didn't really do the job.
And if your highlighter isn't working, it's okay. Mine isn't working.
So I'm going to take this tape right here, it's like duct tape, but it's tape i can use
for this. I'm going to take these scissors and cut,
and I'm going to tape this piece. So basically I'm taping little stripes, and
I'm trying to make a stripy pattern. I'm going to take another strip, about this
height, it depends on how long the phone is, and I'm going to cut it. So I'm going to take
this... You can do as many stripes as you want.
If you want to, you can take thinner or very thin strips of tape and tape across for a
good pattern. I'm going to take this king-sized Sharpie,
or whatever Sharpie, it doesn't matter, and I'm going to take the Sharpie
and I'm going to color right here... So basically, now the cover of my phone case
is not black. And so, I'm going to put the top back on,
remove the tape strips... This is the finished product.
It may not look as nice, but I just wanted to do that.
My phone is a T-Mobile Concord, I got it for my birthday on July 20, 2013.
This is my panda case that used to be white. I colored it with a green Sharpie, used this
tape, made stripes, and colored it black. Now my phone case is green and white striped!
