[music] Hi, everybody. This is Scott, and I'm the founder and CEO of RealTruck.com.
It's kind of weird saying that, I guess. Anyways, when we started RealTruck
in the basement of our house in 1998, I didn't realize I'd some day be a
CEO and founder. But anyway, over the years we've grown, and we are on a
mission to make people's lives and vehicles better. And I was asked to do a
little welcome message that I guess we're going to put on the website
somewhere.
I'm not exactly a video kind of person. You'll have to excuse my super
short hair. I haven't had hair this short since I was in the National
Guard. We had a contest at work, and we beat some sales goals, so I shaved
my head for the benefit of the company.
Anyway, a little bit about RealTruck is that we are from North Dakota, and
so we have soul of the earth, hardworking folks that work at RealTruck.
We've grown over the years, and we'd like to say that we have this huge
strategic plan to go from point A to point B and to do this and to do that,
but oftentimes sometimes it's just good old-fashioned luck and learn as you
go mentality. Like I said, we've grown over the years into one of the
largest e-commerce truck accessory companies in the world, and that's
because of our customers and our people that work at RealTruck.
As I said earlier, we're on a mission to make people's lives and vehicles
better, so we try to cater the things that we do to that. We have some
guiding principles that we try to live by. You can learn about them on our
website, but ultimately one of them is deliver more. We want to try to
deliver more than you expect to our customers, our partners, and to each
other. And we also try to have a lot of fun here. We try to be transparent.
We also try to improve, and we try to be fun and productive. And we try to
spice it up with our own unique personalities, while supporting the company
goals and missions.
Anyways, a few things about RealTruck is that we do offer free shipping
anywhere in the continental United States. We try to make returns as easy
as possible. That scenario we're continually trying to improve. I'm
confident it will continue to get easier, and we'll make that process
easier. You can search by year/make/model. So you can come to the website
and put in your year and make and model of your vehicle and find all the
various accessories that fit it. We primarily specialize in truck, but we
do sell of course SUV and car accessories.
Lastly, one of the things that we really try to do well is answer our
phones. So we strive really hard to answer every call with a live person
while we are open. And we're going to continue to do that, even as we grow,
because we think it's important when you do call that you get a hold of
someone that you don't have to push a bunch of weird buttons and wind up in
some weird voicemail. Occasionally, because of growth and that type of
thing, we get so many calls that we wind up with the phones overloaded, and
some calls go to voicemail, but we always try to call you back right away.
But we are striving to make sure that we answer our phones.
