In sustainable energy news, a Malaysian solar project is completed. The Solar Hybrid System,
the first in Malaysia, was installed in the Iban community in Kerapa Spak in the Betong
Division of Sarawak. Constructed and donated by IBC Solar Teknik of Malaysia, the US$1.4
million development is part of the company’s contribution to enhancing Sarawak’s rural
infrastructure. The System works in cooperation with the on-grid structure and will supply
electricity and a telecommunications link to benefit 500 villagers. Our heartfelt appreciation,
IBC Solar Teknik, and Heaven bless your generosity. May eco-friendly power soon be the norm for
all countries for a cleaner and healthier planet.
