Hello Everyone, Kenigmatic here. So with the PvP community growing at an awesome rate once
again, and with the game being revamped at a much quicker rate, I figured I would create
a series called "PvP 101" where I discuss the bare fundamentals to playing GW2 in a
competitive light.
There will be a few different episodes, showcasing different facets to the PvP experience. The
first few will be "Movement" and "Mechanics."
After that, it's all up to you fine folks to decide what aspect of PvP to cover next.
My goal with this is to create a series of videos for anyone to pick up, listen to or
watch quickly, and get into the game to play for themselves.
PvE and PvP are quite dissimilar, but if you played PvE odds are very good that you know
more than you give yourself credit for.
Dungeons have shown you to look for tells from an enemy, the game in general has taught
you when to dodge, and the game itself allows you to become comfortable with your controls.
PvP isn't entirely different, but there are tweaks and tricks that are used to help yourself
play much more efficiently.
Once these tricks are figured out, PvP becomes a lot more fun, and a lot more about learning
the game inimtately.
By the end of this series, I hope I can provide people with a basic understanding of how to
change up their gameplay, what to look for, and how to learn this game's competitive side.
That's all for now. Keep an eye out on more episodes to come! See-ya!
