How to Make Lasagna. For a warm and hearty meal, try this simple lasagna recipe. You
will need 1 lb. ground beef 2 1/2 c. shredded mozzarella cheese 1/2 c. grated parmesan cheese
15 oz. ricotta cheese 1/4 c. parsley, chopped 1 egg, lightly beaten 26 oz. spaghetti sauce
12 lasagna noodles Equipment: Skillet Mixing bowl 13" x 9" baking dish Aluminum
foil and roasted vegetables. Step 1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit while
you brown the beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain, and return it to
the skillet. Make a vegetarian version by substituting roasted vegetables for the meat.
Step 2. Combine half the mozzarella cheese, half the parmesan cheese, and the ricotta
cheese with parsley and egg in a large mixing bowl. Mix well and set it aside. Step 3. Add
the spaghetti sauce to the meat in the skillet. Fill the empty sauce jar with a cup of water,
replace the lid, and shake well. Pour the water into the meat mixture and stir. Make
the meat sauce in advance and store it in a closed container in the refrigerator. Step
4. Cover the bottom of the baking dish with 1 cup meat sauce. Spread a layer of three
noodles and one-third of the cheese mixture. Repeat this process for two more layers. Sprinkle
the remaining cheese on top. Step 5. Cover the lasagna with aluminum foil. Bake it for
45 minutes, and then remove the foil. Continue baking for another 15 minutes, or until heated
through. Step 6. Remove the lasagna from the oven and let it stand for 15 minutes. Cut
