Welcome to Revelation Unraveled.
On this program I want to talk about
where the Antichrist comes from,
because I believe the Bible states very clearly
that he will come from the city of Istanbul, Turkey.
As you know, the Bible predicted very clearly,
that Jesus Christ would be born
in the city of Bethlehem.
So, we should not be surprised
that the Bible also reveals
where the Antichrist will come from.
Most Bible scholars agree,
that in chapter number 7,
the great Old Testament prophet Daniel,
reveals that the Antichrist
will come from the revived Roman Empire.
But I believe in chapter number 8,
Daniel pinpoints this location much more exactly.
Let's see what the prophet says
in chapter 8, verse number 8. And Daniel writes:
"and the he-goat became exceedingly great
and when he was grown, the great horn was broken
and there came up four horns in its place
toward the four winds of heaven"
In the near time fulfillment of this prophecy,
the he-goat is Alexander the Great,
and the two horns on the ram,
which he defeats, are Medo-Persia.
But in the End Times,
the he-goat symbolizes the Soviet Union,
and the two horns on the ram which it defeats,
are Britain and America.
The four horns toward the four winds of heaven,
in Alexander's case,
indicate the four generals who succeeded him,
but in our own time,
it refers to the city of Rome,
and the four wind directions,
north, east, south and west,
indicate that the entire world will be taken over
by the One World Communist Tyranny.
In verse number 9 Daniel writes:
"and out of one of them came forth a little horn
which waxed exceedingly great,
toward the south, and toward the east,
and toward the glorious land".
Now this "glorious land" refers to Jerusalem,
and the "little horn",
in the near time prophetic fulfillment of Daniel,
refers to Antiochus Epiphanes,
but in the End Times,
this "little horn" refers to the Antichrist.
Of course, the headquarters
of the revived Roman Empire will be Rome,
and in Revelation Saint John writes
that they "give their kingdom to the beast".
And since this empire is world wide,
naturally it extends north, south, east and west,
from the city of Rome.
Of course, this means the Antichrist
could come from the entire world,
but if we draw a latitude and longitude
through the city of Rome,
I think we can pinpoint the location a little better.
There is the latitude;
Rome is just south of the 42nd parallel,
and the longitude runs, of course, north and south.
Out of one of these four directions
will come the Antichrist,
and Daniel pinpoints the location
even further in the next verse,
because the "little horn" waxes exceedingly great
towards the south, towards the east,
and towards Jerusalem.
Since Daniel writes that the Antichrist will come from
ONE of the four directions from Rome,
and since Jerusalem is located east of Rome,
I think it is pretty safe to assume
that the Antichrist will come from this parallel
which is east of the city of Rome.
Daniel writes that the little horn
waxes exceedingly great towards the south,
towards the east, and towards the "glorious land".
If we locate a point on this eastern parallel
so that Jerusalem is due southeast of this point,
we will discover that that location
is a very important city,
and that is the city of Istanbul, Turkey.
Istanbul fulfills all the requirements
of Daniel's prophecy.
It is almost exactly on the parallel that Rome is located,
therefore, it is due east of Rome,
and the "glorious land" (Jerusalem)
is due southeast of Istanbul, Turkey.
It is interesting to look at the meaning
of the word "Istanbul".
"Bethlehem", as you know,
means the "house of bread",
and Jesus is the "bread of life"..
He referred to Himself as "the bread
which came down from heaven".
Would the meaning of the word "Istanbul"
also refer to the Antichrist?
But would anyone ever give their city an evil name?
But they might give their city a name
that has no meaning whatsoever,
and "Istanbul" actually is a meaningless name.
It does not signify anything.
It simply means "in the city"
We might express it as "downtown".
"Istanbul", as far as meaning goes, is meaningless.
And therefore, a very good indication,
that the Antichrist will come from that city.
So, why is it important for us to know
where the Antichrist comes from?
It is important because at the current time
there are so many candidates
whose names are bandied about
as being possibly the Antichrist
when they cannot possibly be the Antichrist;
people like Hilary or Bill Clinton, or Henry Kissinger,
or Tony Blair, or Juan Carlos of Spain,
or, of course, our own Barack Obama.
None of these people come from Istanbul
and none of them can be the Antichrist.
In conclusion, we see that the Bible tells us
where Jesus our Christ comes from,
and where the Antichrist comes from.
But remember, God reveals the future to us,
not to scare us, but to prepare us
