What's up guys? This is Pete, peteisip.com and I'm just here to tell you one thing. And
the one thing is that this is something that maybe no one has ever told you. And/or expressed
to you or ever even taught you what you are. It's that you, as a person, count in life.
You matter in life. You have a reason you are here. Because there's no one in this world
that could do some of the things that you do. Some of you guys may cook like a champion.
Some of you guys may have the best bench press in the word. Some of you guys may have the
ability to teach little kids something. Everyone in this world is something. And you matter
in this world. For you to wake up in the morning and feel like you have no reason to live and
you have no purpose in life and you have no reason to do anything, is an implanted thought
that someone told you. Okay? Because what you are in this world is a *** person.
And you're good at something.
Someone may tell you, "Oh, you're no good at this, because you did this and you didn't
even go to college and you're a high school dropout and you didn't do ..." I *** went
to college and it sucked. I (inaudible 1:27). What did I learn? I learned street smarts
in college. I learned how to manage my time in college. I learned how to make money in
college. I learned how to work my *** off and do 13,000 jobs. I didn't learn one thing.
I learned a lot of things. Did it give me the job I wanted when I friggin' grew up?
No. I hated it. But someone, somewhere down the line told me that was what I had to do.
This is what I had to do. You have to do this and you have to do that. And if you don't,
you don't matter in life. You're not making money. You don't have any insurance. You're
not going to have a good stable family. You're never going to be happy if you don't go and
finish this and then you gotta go over there and make sure you have benefits. Benefit who?
Look what I have! I'm not the richest man in the world. I can't even cover some of my
bills. But I'm the happiest *** you'll ever meet, because one thing I know is that
I *** matter in this world. In this world, I have a purpose. And that purpose is to teach
people how to live. And to teach people how to become a better version of themself. That's
my job. I don't care if I make a million dollars. I don't care if I make a thousand dollars.
I don't care if I make all this ***. Will it make life easier? *** yeah. Look at that
fan. I get that fan for people, because they complain that it's *** hot in this gym.
If it were my choice, I would sweat my balls off in here. But I care so much about my people
inside this gym that I would buy a huge mother-*** fan for them, so they're comfortable while
they work out.
And that's the difference. Is that I have a purpose in life. I have a reason that I
live. There's a reason that I wake up in the morning. The reason that I wake and I put
this *** hat on, I wear this shirt and I put this headband on my freaking arm is
because I matter. And so do you. Because you wake up and you have a job to do. You have
kids to raise. You have money to make so those kids are raised to a perfect individual just
like you are. And you know what? No one ever told you that. No one ever told you that you
count in life. No one ever told you. All people do are *** on you, because that makes them
feel good. When people *** on you, they're doing it because they want to feel better
about themselves. Because they hate themselves. And I don't want you to be that person. So
if you're the only maybe the tenth person to watch this, then at least I affected 10
people and told them that they *** mattered today. And today's the day that you're going
to have to change your life, because if you don't even wake up and think that you don't
matter -- like you're just a piece of *** that just wakes up for some reason -- then
you gotta change that thought.
Because there's something inside you that you know you love to do, and doing that thing
may be the one thing that changes someone else's life. Maybe that's your job! Maybe
your role in life wasn't to have your dreams come true, but at the same time you're making
other people's dreams come true. Did you ever think about that? I had a huge dream when
I was in high school. I wanted to be a fashion designer and I wanted to go to FIT. My parents
thought I was going to be gay and maybe I am. I'm just kidding. But it's ... that was
what I wanted to do. But at the same time, I loved helping people and I knew I always
did and I knew I always was a personal trainer. I was always coaching people and always helping
people out and I never thought about it. Because I always followed the structure of society.
I never followed the structure of what everyone else did. And everyone else did this pattern
of things and they're happy. I'm not going to lie, because that was their choice and
their purpose. Their purpose in life was to do that. My purpose in life was not to do
that.
The reason I hated all that stuff was because I didn't believe in it. But I do know that
every day I woke up, even through the *** ups ... I messed up man! Like, I *** up.
Like, my life wasn't *** great. It sucked. Some of the ***, I didn't know what I was
doing. I was a confused kid. I had no idea where I was going. I had job after job. I
*** hated people. I loved people. I hated people even more. But now I'm learning is
that my job and my role in life is to help you guys. And you have something. There's
something inside you. There's something somewhere, where you matter. You're *** awesome at
something. I don't care what it is. ***. Great. But there's one thing that I know and
that is, you count in life. You have a purpose. You just have to find it. I found my purpose
and I'm 30-something years old. It's about *** time I found out what it was. But
it's not over. And most people think their lives are over. You could find your purpose
maybe when you're 40. When you're 50, when you're 60. There's something. Because finally
you realize that the *** that people say and the *** that people do around you don't
matter in your life. The only thing that matters is knowing that you *** count. You count!
There's something about you that you are still alive. Be the best parent you could be. Be
the best accountant you could be. Be the best *** deli owner, student, *** basketball
player, wrestler, gym owner, trainer, life coach ... whatever you are. Be the best at
that. As long as it's something that you want to do. If you hate your life and you love
sewing, be the best sewer. Just do something in your life that you're happy doing. By doing
that, you'll find more of your purpose and you'll understand that you *** count on
this earth.
That's all. There's nothing that you can say. You just have to believe in yourself and just
*** everything you've heard and *** everything that anyone has ever told you, because to
tell you the truth, it doesn't even matter what they say. The only thing that matters
is what you think about yourself. I'm out. I hope you guys have a great day. And remember
that everything in life happens for a reason. The reason you're watching this video is because
you gotta find your purpose. peteisip.com.
