TheFNDC.com presents
Drinks With Diablo
The Blue Lagoon.
Welcome back to Drinks with Diablo
This is your host Jöhnny Dîablø.
And today we're making the Blue Lagoon.
And what you're going to need for this drink:
Blue curacao, ***,
lemonade and a little bit of lemon.
That's it, we're going to mix it up in a shaker full of ice;
throw it in a high ball glass full of ice.
Alright, so lets get started,
One ounce of ***,
One ounce of blue curacao,
and 4 ounces of lemonade.
Now does anybody here remember the
the 1982 film, The Blue Lagoon?
>> Amy: Yes.
>> Dîablø: Oh, you do.
>> Amy: Lilly's even seen it, yeah.
>> Lilly: Absolutely, it's like these kids
that get dropped on an island at a young age,
and then they fall in love with each other and they have a baby.
>> Dîablø: Isn't that where Brooke Shields became a star?
>> Lilly: And they have a baby—
>> Amy: Yeah, it is.
>> Dîablø: That's where Brooke Shields became a star.
>> Amy: Yup.
Now there was a remake of that film
Not as good.
>> Audience: [ laughs ]
>> Dîablø: But anyway, we won't discuss that.
So you shake it up—
>> Lilly: Shake, shake, shake it up.♫
strain it out.
>> Amy: Definitely blue.
>> Dîablø: It is blue.
Throw down a lemon wedge for a garnish.
And there you go. The Blue Lagoon, simple as can be.
How does it taste? That's the true verdict.
Lemony, I know there's *** and I know there's curacao in there.
But this is a refreshing summer drink
that you should try.
But it is layed back enough to where it's not going to toss you back
like the first couple you drink.
A very good drink.
