You never really value time Until you have a deadline
There is never ever a need to cram Until you are nearing exams
Never mind when you begin One day before, youll be in the thick of
things With so much to cover, and so little time
Youll be overcooked and sleep-deprived
Books will give you hundreds of reasons to weep
Food and weather will conspire to make you sleep
Sleep and memory will be playing tricks Power naps or caffeine? Take your pick
Packed libraries, silent canteens, there is gloom everywhere
Laugh loudly, and receive murderous stares Tuts, PYPs, lecture notes mess with you
There is so little time and so much to do
There is a countdown until the day it begins You daydream about the day it ends
There is a glorious vacation on the other side
But first you need to steer the ride
You wonder why exams exist Cos learning should not be trivialized through
tests There are so many success stories you mentally
recount About great achievers who were dropouts
But inside your head, there is a nagging voice Stop rambling, start studying, you dont
have a choice You can be cool and planned, or be stressed
and fret But unless you are superhuman, you cant
resist the internet
Dont worry, soon exams will end And wont trouble you for another sem
For the time being, there is no time left to stress
Sleep well. Eat well. All the best
