Welcome everyone.
Let’s get straight into this.
If you’re having issues with Windows 7 finding or detecting your Logitech product this is
a quick work around.
We’re going to go to Start.
All Programs.
Find the Logitech software.
I’m going to Right Click.
Select Properties.
In Properties we’re going to go to the compatibility tab.
Then once here.
We’re going to check Run this program as an administrator.
Then click apply.
Okay, so at this point lets go ahead and go to start and reboot the computer.
After the reboot we’re going to start.
All programs.
Find the Logitech software.
Right click.
Select run as administrator.
And hopefully this will resolve the issue until a fix can be found.
I’ve contacted Microsoft, I’ve had help from the CyberTech forums, opinions from other
techs and thus far this has been the only solution that works with any effectiveness.
I’ve also experienced this with my Razer Synaps software, although I’ve not had an
issue with either my Corsair mouse or ironically enough the Razer Maba.
The Razer Maba is a specific driver download than the generic Razer Synapse software which
runs my Black Widow Keyboard and Razer Tiapan.
After a few seconds the Logitech software icon and peripherals should appear.
I’ve not had an issue with the Wireless Logitech G903’s you see here as they have
their own build in software.
This work around has worked well, however upon each reboot I do have to go back and
run the software as an administrator.
This also applies for the Razer Synapse software.
I hope this how to has beens helpful if you have any suggestions or recommendations I
welcome your thoughts in the comment section below.
Thanks for watching.
