Now, we're ready to start swinging our poi. But, first I want you to imagine that you
are inside of a cube, a box structure, and inside that cube, you have walls on your right
side, on your left side, in the front of you, behind you, above you, and also below. These
are the planes that the poi need to stay within, so the poi need to be paralleling the different
planes. So, that if you were actually standing next to a real wall, the poi would not hit
the wall. All of the movements that we're going to be talking about today, and all of
the movements that you'll pretty much ever do with poi, will be somehow within these
different planes. You can also imagine that, there's access running down the center of
your body and that you have it separated into a right and a left side, that the poi will
either be staying on the original side, or crossing over the center access. And, when
poi do cross, they're going to cross over the center mid line of your body.
