Good morning, 5th graders. Today we're going to learn how to create a one minute, short
video using photos that we took from the California Science Museum. However, for my demonstration
I'm going to use photos that I took when I went with my family to Yosemite. So I'm going
to grab some photos from here. I have some already down here. And I'm going to go ahead
and drag them up to the project library. And, I'm going to grab a total of about 10 photos.
Just and I'm just going to go ahead and drag and drop them. So I'm going to grab about
10 of them. O.K. so I have about 10 photos over here. Now, if you don't like the order
in which you have them, you can move them around just by going ahead and clicking on
it. And when you get a hand, you can go ahead and move it to a different spot if you want
to. So let me see if it'll go ahead and move over. O.k. now I have it moved over and I
like what I see. And, I also noticed here that as I run the cursor over each photo I
can see that to the right that they're here nice and bigger for me to see. So if you just
move your cursor over to each one, you can see if you like those photos. If you don't
those photos you can just press delete and get a new one. But I like what I see and there
are 10 of them. And, I am also looking right here where it says 4s, which means four seconds.
That means each photo is four seconds. And I think according to the instructions they
needed to be a total of one minute. So I need to stretch it out a little bit longer. So
I'm going to go ahead and see this arrow right here and I'm going to click on it. And it
says, "clip adjustment." So I'm going to click on the clip adjustment and I'm going to go
ahead and change that to 5.0 making it five seconds each. Which will make it a total of
fifty seconds. So I'm going to go ahead and change each one of those to 5 seconds. O.K.
now all the photos now have been changed to 5 seconds. That means that each time it goes
over to each clip, it'll be 5 seconds long. And I also added two more so it would stretch
out to be a total of sixty seconds, which equals one minute. Now I also want to add
music to my video. So I'm going to go over here to the music icon right over here. Where
it says, "show or hide music in sound effect browser. And I'm going to go over here. When
I clicked on it, it comes up with these music, this music here and I saw that I have the
flying theme from "E.T. I like that, so I'm going to go ahead and drag that over here
and drop it here right at the beginning. And you can see the down now, the whole, my whole
music, it will go over through here. So, now I'm ready to ready to start at the beginning.
And, when I start at the beginning, I have to make sure that that my cursor is right
here and I'm ready to play it. [Music playing].
O.k. and there you go.
