Can you tell me what you think about the 8 million kids that die every year from
treatable diseases?
I think that this is really a huge amount.
I think that this is a very high number especially when you think about that the
causes of the deaths are treatable.
I think that it is really sad because as you said they are treatable diseases but there
is not enough information for the mothers or the parents of the kids.
What would you recommend the leaders of the world to do to prevent child
mortality?
I think that I would recommend the leaders to make sure that the nurses and
doctors who are delivering the baby and helping the mothers have the best
training that they can get.
I think that education in youth is by far the most important because if people are
educated by a young age, like if they are sexually educated they will reduce the
risk of having young women especially, having children when they are not
prepared for it.
Spread information and try to get people informed, make conferences or
workshops or something where people can actually go for free.
There would be so many easy things to do for example, doing medical care
reachable for everybody.
More information for the parents and make them take the children to the doctor
even if it is something like a flu or stuff like that because they can get worse and
maybe we are not going to be able to do something to make it better.
