In the beginning, I came to Bangalore wanting to do films, I could not find the right place
to put up my portfolio and works. I used to roam around in Gandhinagar with my portfolio.
At the same time, I would look into the social media sites in search of people who were in
the film industry. I met Srikanth Deshapande for the first time through Orkut and made
movies like Nam Areal Ondina, Tughlaq, and more. Internet media has been a major factor
for me to reach till here. At that time, there was no one single place where I could go and
approach people from the film industry. And, FilmySphere has come up with a very good idea
where all the talents can come together and upload their portfolios and get noticed by
directors and music directors. It's a very nice idea, I guess. When we did Ulidavaru
Kandanthe, we contacted a lot of agents saying we wanted actors from the Mangalore/Udupi
side who spoke that accent particularly. Most of them didn't know how to approach the industry
despite having a desire to act in movies. Being from Udupi, I have wasted a lot of time
trying to contact people from the industry. Through FilmySphere, I don't have to face
the same problems anymore. I can search for people
who can talk such dialects. I think this will be very helpful for upcoming actors. All you
have to do is login to filmysphere.com and create a profile at Talent Sphere and upload
all your portfolios and works. This will make it very easy to access people from the film industry. All
the best!
