Welcome. My name is Lars Erik Robinson and my company is Lars Arts All Around Artainment.
Today I thought we'd talk about what we go through to be able to use cartoons and what
different markers we use. There's a markette marker that you can actually order from Canada.
There's a bold tip marker that does more bolder lines, that goes from thick to thin. These
markettes are great because it goes from thin to thick. And if you really want to get into
the brush strokes, there's other markers out there that go from really bold strokes to
really thin strokes. Now if you do want a little smaller, if you have a smaller sketchbook
and you just want to play around there's pentel. I really love these are KFPG and they have
really small detail work you can do and to like really detail. And these are great for
doing small sketches in your studio. They can go minor like this and if you're doing
a cartoon character, it kind of gives it a great effect. So there's several different
markers out there that you can also choose from. There's thinner type that has small
lines on them. So just keep on looking for different markers that you feel comfortable
with and stick with it. But always use a pencil work. Put your pencil down there first before
you go ahead and ink it in. So if you pencil it in then you can erase it and especially
if you're doing studio work. Thank you so much.
