Now we're going to take our cake flour, and our salt, and we're only going to use a teaspoon
of salt. Now I've been cooking for a long time, and I don't necessarily use measuring
cups and things for everything. So I'm just going to take a little bit of salt and I'm
going to add it to our flour. And you can sift the flour and the salt together, or you
can just add it together here, and then dump it in your mixing bowl. Now again, I'm going
to start this, and we're going to add it slowly. The key is to take a little bit at a time,
and start to mix because the texture's going to change. Just take your time, and mix it
well. Don't be alarmed if the texture changes, because it's going to cream right back. So
I'm going to turn up the speed just a little bit. Want to mix that for a little while.
And then we're going to add the rest. So I guess you could say we did about half and
half.
