We have given our lady bug a nice round body and I had to go along with that. Now what
you can do is you can decorate your ladybug. Ladybugs come in an assortment of colors,
they are decorated differently. For this one I am going to give her a line down the back
and I am going to use this tool that has a little edge that can give me an indentation.
So what you want to do is find the center of the ladybug and you want to start from
her head here and you want to bring the line all the way back down the middle. I am going
to start right here and I am going to indent it. Now you want to indent it just enough
to indent it, but not to cut through the fondant, and then what you want to do is you want to
add some polka dots and then we will give her some eyes also. So for that I am going
to use wax, just going to roll this out, I am going to roll this out just slightly a
little thinner
and then we are going to use a small round cutter and we are going to cut out some polka
dots so that we can then push that into the fondant and then we are going to pre-cut a
couple of little circles and i think that should be enough and you can just remove the
excess from around it so that you can just pick up your circles. Now use this little
knife tool just to help me pick them up off the table. I am going to add a little water
to the back of them just to stick them on. You can stick them on randomly if you like,
you can stick them on in a pattern, it is up to you, I am going to stick them on randomly.
I am just going to add them to both sides. Wow, now our ladybug has some spots. We will
finish her off with some eyes and give her some little horns.
