Hi, I'm John Swanstrom, an application engineer for network analyzers. Hewlett-Packard, Agilent
and now Keysight Technologies have been a leader in network analyzer innovation for
over 40 years. We've recently introduced an exciting new full two-part vector network
analyzer that fits in just one slot and helps you drive down the size of tests. Our PXI
VNA offers the widest frequency range available with six different models that operate from
300 kHz to 4, 6.5, 9, 14, 20 or 26.5 GHz. It has a very intuitive user interface, the
same as the popular and familiar PNA series, making it very easy to operate. It utilizes
the same measurement science as the trusted PNA, so you can now obtain the same consistent
measurement results when using a PXI based VNA.
It also uses the same calibration science enabling a wide range of different calibration
types and utilizes the popular ECal modules as well as mechanical calibration standards.
This ensures you can obtain fast, easy and accurate measurements. One of the key design
goals of this product was to provide the best overall performance available in a small form
factor. As you can see it offers the best PXI VNA speed, dynamic range and trace noise
to help you improve your accuracy, yield and margins. This vector network analyzer only
occupies one chassis slot so it can easily fit into almost any PXI measurement system
to add a network analyzer measurement capability.
While these individual modules are full two-port analyzers, additional modules can be cascaded
to provide a multiport vector network analyzer. Shown here are eight modules that form a 16-port
vector network analyzer. Full crossbar multiport S parameters can be obtained simply by adding
additional modules. There is also the ability to configure multiple independent vector network
analyzers that can measure multiple devices simultaneously. Shown here are four four-port
vector network analyzers configured into a single PXI chassis. Each of these can operate
as an independent vector network analyzer and they can be triggered either synchronously
or asynchronously. This allows measuring multiple devices simultaneously, thus increasing measurement
throughput and can significantly lower the cost of test in manufacturing.
In automated measurement systems you'll need good programming capabilities. These modules
support all the standard PXI programming languages. Additionally they also use the same SCPI commands
as the popular PNA analyzer. You've seen some of the great features offered by this new
PXI VNA. When you need to measure basic S parameters, the right mix of speed, performance
and footprint gives you an edge. Sharpen your edge with the Keysight PXI VNA. It's a full
two-port Vector Network Analyzer that fits in just one slot. It also performs fast, accurate
measurements and reduces your cost of test by letting you simultaneously characterize
many devices ? two-port of multiport using a single chassis.
Add the Keysight PXI VNA to your system and drive down the size of tests. For more information
