It was a dangerous, brutal journey. I've gotta admit, at times, I really didn't think we
were gonna make it. But finally... FINALLY!!! We've made it to week 2 of the WWE Network.
At 9.99 a month with a 6 month commitment you're granted access to thousands of hours
worth of lightly censored WWE, WCW and ECW content in addition to original programming.
In comparison to Netflix who offers a few edited documentaries and specials, the WWE
network is a hardcore wrestling fan's dream.
Available on multiple platforms, the WWE Network boasts a sleek layout with fun sound effects,
and easy navigation. At first the initial amount of options may seem overwhelming, but
upon further exploration you'll find that the on demand selections are organized by
brand, alphabetical order and year.
Right now I'm watching the failed Invasion angle. I'm looking forward to watching a lot
of the AWA matches and WCW Starcade, reliving ECW One Night Stand... There's just so much.
Bad News Barrett might have been right...24 hour unlimited wwe network access... no good
can come of this.
So far I've streamed the WWE Network on my PS3, my android, laptop, tablet and desktop
computers. With most of the kinks and bugs seemingly worked out by now, the hiccups were
well worth the wait. Hopefully now they can focus on adding more content and tweaking
the interface so that it's more user friendly.
For example, it would be really great if after stream interruptions if there was a recently
viewed list and start from the last stop so that you could find your place again easily
instead of having to search through the entire library.
Also since there is such a massive On Demand library available, while browsing titles it
would be helpful to add a list feature, where you can queue items to be watched later, along
with suggestions for the future based on your specific viewing history.
But in the end, the pros far outweigh the cons. When you factor in the all inclusive
events like Wrestlemania, the Hall OF Fame Ceremony and all 12 Pay Per Views in addition
to the original programming on On demand library, 10 bucks a month almost seems too low. It's
an unlimited access at an unbeatable price.
I'm the IWC's delight, the dime that shines bright! Too pretty to be mad, too s-uh-weet
