ELMO: Oh, yay.
We're in the park.
Oh, oh.
Hi, Miss Fran.
MISS FRAN: Hey, Elmo.
I'm glad you made it to the park.
LOUIE: Hi, Fran.
How you doing?
MISS FRAN: Hey, Louie.
I'm doing good.
LOUIE: Well, now that the rain's stopped, sure is a
lovely day in your park.
MISS FRAN: Oh, yeah.
Right you are, Louie.
Hey, who's this?
ELMO: Oh, oh, Miss Fran, this is Elmo's new
friend, Abby Cadabby.
MISS FRAN: Well, hey there, Abby Cadabby.
Nice to meet you.
ABBY: How do you do, Miss Fran?
MISS FRAN: Just fine.
LOUIE: Abby, our friend, Miss Fran, is a park ranger.
ELMO: Oh, yeah.
She knows so much about things in the park, Abby.
ABBY: Really?
Like what?
MISS FRAN: Oh, there's a ton of interesting
stuff in the park.
ELMO: Oh.
MISS FRAN: Let's see.
Where to begin?
Oh, hey, you see all these leaves on the ground?
ABBY: Yeah, they're all over.
MISS FRAN: Mm-hmm.
That's right.
But look closely to see how different they can be.
See?
LOUIE: Oh.
ABBY: Ah.
Wow.
They're so different.
One is big and pointy, and the other one
is little and smooth.
MISS FRAN: Good for you, Abby.
These are from two different kinds of trees
that grow in the park.
And each tree has a different kind of leaf.
ABBY: Ah.
LOUIE: Oh.
ABBY: [GIGGLES]
[GASPS]
Hey, look.
ELMO: At what, Abby?
ABBY: Hey, this bush has the little leaves like the one
Miss Fran was holding.
ELMO: Oh, look at that.
Look, look.
ABBY: Wow.
ELMO: Oh, look up there.
Look up there, Abby.
ABBY: Oh.
ELMO: That tree has the other kind of leaves.
MISS FRAN: Yeah.
And if you go around and look, you'll find lots of other
kinds of leaves.
ABBY: Hey, look what I found.
LOUIE: Oh.
ELMO: Look, look.
MISS FRAN: Yeah, that's a pine cone.
And you know, it's from a whole other kind of
tree, a pine tree.
ABBY: Ah.
ELMO: Oh.
ABBY: Gee, this pine cone is rough and hard.
And those leaves are soft and smooth.
LOUIE: Mm-hmm.
ELMO: Oh, boy.
There's so many different kinds of things on the ground.
Oh, there's leaves and sticks and rocks and bugs and all
kinds of stuff.
MISS FRAN: Uh-huh.
ELMO: We could be exploring all day.
LOUIE: [CHUCKLES]
ABBY: Yeah.
MISS FRAN: All right.
LOUIE: That's right, son.
And you know what else?
ELMO: What?
LOUIE: There's even more to explore if you look up.
ELMO: [LAUGHS]
LOUIE: Huh?
MISS FRAN: Oh, yeah.
What else do you see?
ABBY: [GASPS]
I see a squirrel.
ELMO: Where?
Where?
ABBY: There.
ELMO: Oh, yeah.
Elmo sees it.
It's a squirrel.
MISS FRAN: Good.
And you know, a squirrel is an animal.
Let's see how many different kinds of animals you can find
in the park.
ELMO: OK.
OK.
Let's see.
[GASPS]
Elmo sees a bird.
MISS FRAN: Yeah.
Elmo, that's a blue jay.
ABBY: [GASPS]
ELMO: What?
ABBY: Look, a beautiful butterfly.
LOUIE: Oh.
ELMO: Oh.
ABBY: Oh, yes, your majesty.
MISS FRAN: [CHUCKLES]
ELMO: Is the butterfly talking to you, Abby?
ABBY: Oh, yes.
Faeries can talk to butterflies.
ELMO: Ah.
ABBY: This butterfly says she's a Monarch.
MISS FRAN: Oh, yeah.
LOUIE: And you know what else, kids?
ELMO: What?
LOUIE: There's lots of different kinds of
butterflies, birds, and leaves.
ELMO: Oh!
Oh!
And lots and lots of different kinds of friends.
Oh, look, Abby, look, look, look!
It's Lara and Matt.
Hi.
MATT: Hi, Elmo.
LARA: Hi, Abby.
MATT: Hey, Abby.
ELMO: Hey, hey.
Want to play "Ring Around the Rosie"?
MATT: Do I?
LARA: "Ring Around the Rosie?"
MATT: Oh, yeah, yeah.
ELMO: OK.
Come on, Abby.
[LAUGHS]
LOUIE: [CHUCKLES]
MISS FRAN: Yeah.
LOUIE: Have fun.
MISS FRAN: The park's a great place to play, learn, and
explore with your friends.
LOUIE: Yeah.
[CHUCKLES]
ALL: [SINGING]
Ring around the rosie.
A pocket full of posies.
LOUIE: Look at them having so much--
wait, wait.
Watch out for the--
ALL: Down!
[BIG SPLASH]
LOUIE: --mud.
Oh, too late.
ELMO: [CHUCKLES]
ABBY: Oh, I forgot with all the rain we had sure is lots
of mud in the park.
ELMO: There sure is.
MATT: What a mess, huh?
LARA: Yeah.
MATT: Yeah.
ELMO: Oh great.
Uh, Daddy?
LOUIE: Oh, don't you worry about it, son.
You know, we can always do another load of laundry.
[CHUCKLES]
ELMO: [LAUGHS]
ALL: [LAUGHS]
LOUIE: [SINGING]
We can learn everywhere we go, with everything we do--
ALL: [SINGING]
--from everyone we know.
MISS FRAN: [SINGING]
Learning is everywhere--
ALL: [SINGING]
--in everything we do.
ELMO: [SINGING]
Elmo can learn.
ABBY: [SINGING]
And Abby's learning too.
LARA AND MATT: Discovering new things is so much fun to do.
ALL: Learning is everywhere, everywhere, it's true.
LOUIE: [CHUCKLES]
If we look and listen carefully--
ELMO: --in the house, at the park--
ABBY: --or the grocery.
ALL: There's so many new discoveries around here.
LOUIE: Now sing it with me.
ALL: We can learn everywhere we go, with everything we do,
from everyone we know.
Learning is everywhere, everywhere, it's true.
THE COUNT: Like counting, ah-ha-ha!
ALL: So exciting when we're learning something new.
LOUIE AND MISS FRAN: Any time of day.
ELMO AND ABBY: Even when we play.
LOUIE AND MISS FRAN: Every place we go.
LARA AND MATT: Everyone we know.
[LAUGHS]
ALL: Learning's everywhere.
