As you can see, it's a bit of a challenge, but...it will be done.
Line it up and you're ready to go...
Rocky: Try to use a
Mallet on these delicate suspension parts. It's not the kind of parts you wanna beat
on with
a Hammer.
There it is... Ta-da.
Ugh...Mallet
Like this and...
You don't wanna use an Impact on.
Rocky: Yeah, something like this, you don't wanna use an Impact.
You gotta line up the Cotter.
Rocky: Is this the one it came with?
Yep.
Keep making fine adjustments until the hole, the cotter, and the pin line up correctly.
Or at least in bolts too...(?)
Rocky: Damn it...
You're bending it that way?
Rocky: (indistinct)...go around...
That's not gonna fall off?
Rocky: No, not gonna fall off. What it is, if it ever comes loose, it's gonna
stop it from even spinning. And doesn't need that much in here just to
stop it from spinning.
Rocky: I don't like the way that looks. (Referring to the Cotter pin...)
Gonna make it look a little cleaner...
Not gon' keep ******** with it so that's good... Are you on the cap?
Rocky: A lot of people are paranoid about size, but the cap is supposed to go down across
the cap, technically. But, eh, it don't make a difference.
The main part is that it's in there and it's not gonna be able to come out.
Rocky: Where's the old one?
Get a better view...
Oh yeah, don't breathe in that brake dust. Not a good thing...
Rocky: Okay, I got the bolts secured, 1 and 2.
And then all we want to do now is line this up
so the brake line line is not being obstructive..or (...) nowhere.
The best thing to do is line it up with the old bracket
that was on the old piece of hardware, or, if you don't have it, you replaced it, or
thrown it away, just turn your steering wheel the complete
radius all the way to the right and to the left,
while somebody's here watching it, and someone's in the car.
And that's best way to find out, okay?
