Nocturia with insomnia is linked to increased wakefulness and being less rested.
I'm Erin White and this is a dailyRx Minute.
Nocturia, or the urge to urinate in the middle of the night, is common among older insomniacs.
And when the toilet calls in the middle of the night, it can be difficult to go back
to sleep. Frequent bathroom trips cause more than half of the unnecessary wake up calls
at night among older insomniacs. Nocturia is linked with chronic urinary tract infections,
prostate conditions in men, diabetes and heart failure among other conditions. Ask your doctor
how to get a better night's sleep. For dailyRx TV, I'm Erin White.
