Would you guys like to see a little bit of what we do?
Yeah!

Eric: Okay, what we're going to do is, Jerry,
we're going to show you how you can drive...
Okay.
with what's called a hand control.
If somebody has a tough time using they're gas
and brake with their legs.
Right.
Look at this, what happens, grab onto this right here, okay?
Here?
Yeah, so if you want to put the brake on,
you just push down, see how you just pushed down on the brake?
Good.
And then if you want to do the gas, you pull towards yourself.
That's great.
Yep, exactly.
Now if you want to steer, you want to have one hand on this right here
and then one hand on the *** and that's how you do the steering.
Could you tell us how many of these are made in a year?
Sure, sure, these vehicles, we sell
these vehicles through our eleven stores,
we sell several hundred of them per year
and we adapt them for passengers, we adapt them for drivers.
Just hit that button right there.
See how that just did it?
Oh my... oh my god!
Eric: See as the door opens, the vehicle lowers and the ramp comes out.
Oh my god!
Eric: So you can get into the vehicle and drive, get out,
and what's nice about these vehicles is they're all crash tested
all according to all federal standards and our company has 24 hour service.
If there's anything wrong while you're driving,
a passenger in any of these vehicles, we have 24 hour service at all locations.
Andrea: Oh, wow!
Alisa: Where are we going?
Boston.
Alisa: We're going to Boston, all right you ready?
This is called the tri-pin, if you want, put your hand like this, Jerry.
Here?
inside, yep, and then what you want to do is... there we go.
See, this is how the person that the van we made for will be driving,
that's how he uses the steering wheel.
And then this is how you do the...
you can put it into park, reverse, neutral, and drive.
This product is actually for some of our clients that can still ambulate.
But they need something to lift a heavy scooter or a powerchair into the vehicle.
See how it swings out?
Wow!
And then you can put it back into the vehicle by hitting the 'in' button.
Basically what happens is on the bottom of the wheelchair,
they put a bolt and it has a bracket.
And this is a unit that's mounted on the floor of the van
so somebody that comes into a vehicle
with their wheelchair, they can lock right in.
This is fully crash tested for safety.
Eric, can you explain a little bit about what this does?
Absolutely, this is a seat that actually helps people get into vehicles.
What it is, it actually has a motor that turns the seat...
and it will face outside of a vehicle.
Wow!
Wow!
And then the actual seat will then lower down to make it easier
so you can just sit in the seat and then it will do all the lifting and stuff.
So what we'll do is...
Would you like to try the seat and I'll have Jerry do the controls?
Yeah, sure.
Sure!
Let's try it!
