Darine when you’re at a young age under spotlights,
where people are constantly watching you, you become cautious
since you’re not able to act freely, in addition to the paparazzi photographers nowadays.
I don’t believe in Lebanese paparazzi that much since they try to make a deal with us.
Did it happen to you?
All the Lebanese paparazzi are like that, I’m telling it Live on TV
because the way of practicing their job is wrong.
When photographers want to be a real paparazzi, they should do it right.
If you consider the Lebanese paparazzi wrong then why did you accept their deal with you?
I didn’t. I have never done it, not even once.
Though they can make you even more famous, people start gossiping about your poses and dancing or with someone in intimacy moments in the taken photographs.
No it doesn’t, why don’t they photo shoot me while I’m shopping or when I’m with my fiancé, I don’t mind at all, I have nothing to hide.
Lebanese paparazzi what they do is calling me to tell me that I should attend a dinner at a certain place that is sponsor to the magazine that they work for.
Yes continue please, this is an interesting discussion.
Why they should act like that, if they really want to be paparazzi, they even should practice it properly or don’t practice it at all.
Darine, are you engaged? Yes.
How long have you been engaged?
I consider my boyfriend as my fiancé since from the beginning of our relationship we decided to get married, and we’ve been together around 3 to 4 years.
Is he open minded enough to accept you being constantly under spotlights?
Definitely, else we couldn’t have stayed together that long.
Does he support you?
Definitely, I’m emotionally supported by my mother and Ghassan too.
I feel comfortable asking them anything, and when I feel sad they always support me.
We salute your mom and Ghassan, in the hope of you getting married.
And we want to also salute all the viewers that are watching us now.
And my Facebook fans, that I wish I could mention them all since they are too many.
I want to thank my unknown fan group creator Aly Shokor,
also I want to thank Ahmed Tawbeh,
those two are intensely supporting me to the extent that my Facebook fan group reached around 3000 fans,
though I’m not an artist or still not that famous.
We also want to salute all of the fans.
You just mentioned someone with the Tawbeh (=regret) family name, so my final question is: what do you regret for in life?
What do I regret for?
I regret nothing that happened to me, there’s nothing that I did in my life that I regret for.
I hope I won’t regret something in the future.
Darine we want to welcome you again in “Yawm Jdeed”.
Thanks and waiting for you to be my guest.
I’m honored.
By the way, I like food.
You like Lebanese food?
Mostly yes, but the important thing is to have a good food’s taste.
I hope you’ll like the food in my show.
No matter what, sitting with you alone is enough to have a good ambiance.
Thank you.
I wish you the best in your new show. We salute all your coworkers and teams at “Al Jadeed” TV.
We end our show with the journalist and TV presenter, Darine Chahine.
