We live in an extremely religious society amongst many professing believers of Jesus.
In Christian circles all over here, are these things like this preacher and that preacher.
They want to talk about their wonderful charismatic preachers that they really think are absolutely
so wonderful. And so they start quoting all these preachers. They are inspired by so many
serious preachers from the 1800s till now, but the thing is friends they are not interested
in Jesus! We can't be part of the camp and be onlookers, yet we don't actually pick up
our cross, deny ourselves and follow the Lord. There is no use being part of the group.
You must singularly pick up your cross and deny yourself and follow the Lord yourself.
It doesn't help you that DL Moodie followed the Lord, or Charles Spurgeon, or TL Osborn,
or any of these other preachers. It doesn't matter if they followed the Lord, because
what matters is whether you are following the Lord. The Lord gives people wisdom to
speak to bring people to him. But if you're not listening and you're just interested in
following other Christians, then you're never going to know Jesus and in the end you're
just going to perish, because you're just part of the group and you never got to know
the Lord yourself. Don't be just part of the group dear friend. You've got to get to seek
to know Jesus too.
You've got to then walk your path with the Lord doing his works. There is no use just
looking to other preachers who have made the way through Christ by the Holy Spirit leading
them. You have to be led by the Lord yourself. And then we got to busy ourselves with doing
the kingdom's work. We don't need to be listening to each other. We just got to be busy with
serving the Lord. The Lord will speak to people and through people yes. He will use you and
use your brother. He will use me. He will use people to wake you up. But the thing is
friends once we have woken up, we don't need to be quoting this preacher and quoting that
preacher and following along yet we ourselves sit on the sidelines and do absolutely nothing
for Jesus.
We simply do not listen to him at all. We have to start to become led by the Lord ourselves
instead of just being part of the group, praising along the other preachers yet we ourselves
don't follow Jesus. Thats all I see these days in this religious Christianity movement.
They hold up all these preachers who are following the Lord yet they themselves don't follow
the Lord. It is no use being part of the group. You are required to follow Jesus yourself,
may the Lord bless you.
