Hi I'm Laura from youngwritersworkshops.com and I'm going to talk about how to find a
free on line book club and there are actually a lot of on line book clubs out there and
most of them are free so I guess the trick is finding the right one for you which might
determine what kind of books you like to read, what level of interaction you are looking
for and to think about if you would rather do a group that involves e-mails and getting
a lot of e-mails or going to a board that is on line and just reading the posts on the
site. Some of the places might be yahoo groups which is groups.yahoo.com. You're going to
find a million groups there and there might be specialized groups that are about certain
genre of literature that you are really interested in and you might also go to the Barnes and
Noble site and they have a site specifically about their book clubs and you can join any
number of clubs directly through that site. Now another thing to think about is if there
is a specific author that you are really interested in reading a lot of their books they may actually
have a book site of book clubs from the author's site so those are some things to think about
when you are looking for an on line book club. Using a search engine like Google you could
find a good resource or a few good sites that actually compile a variety of sites on one
page or you could go to yahoo groups or Google groups and use their searches to find a group
that will work for you. So do a little bit of research, look around, and I'm sure that
you will find a good free on line book club.
