One day after President Park Geun-hye made her case for cutting down on excessive regulations,...
Finance Minister Hyun Oh-seok followed up with the leaf
dership of the ruling Saenuri Party to make sure her plans are carried out.
Hyun urged lawmakers on Friday to pass legislation related to the president's push.
They said they would begin working on getting the bills approved in April.
The finance minister also promised that the Park administration would coordinate closely
with the National Assembly in its push to eliminate red tape, which the government says
is stifling economic growth.
