Your next step, after you have a nice piece there on your deckle, is you flip it over,
onto a table with a, I use a cotton sheet. And, you sponge off all the excess water,
pressing down firmly, but being very careful not to shift your deckle. And, you keep sponging
until it, all the excess water comes out. And, you should be able to tell when you've
got enough water out of it, because the color will lighten up on you. (sound of water pouring
into can) Just make sure you get as much of the water out, as you can. And, once you've
gotten as much as you can out... (sound of water pouring into can) You very very carefully,
and slowly, start peeling up your deckle, and if you've soaked up all the water, your
paper will stick to the table. This one tore a little bit. Got a little bit of a wrinkle
in this one. But, the good thing about this, if you mess up, you can put it right back
in your pulp, and start all over.
