Hi! Malik the magic guy, expertvillage.com. So now that I’ve taught you the pinch twist
and some ideas on how to use it I want to show you another way to make the swan that
makes it look a little nicer and it has a little more detail to it. So we’re going
to start with a balloon blown up with about a hand unflated and what we’re going to
do is take this bubble we’re going to do a pinch twist with just this bubble, we’re
going to take the knot and basically pinch twist it into here…so I’m going to hold
that over and just hold on to it and give it a pinch twist like that, okay. Now we’re
going to do a roll through like we did with the first swan and you can twist this around
just like it’s a regular bubble, do a three bubble roll through it just like this…then
we’re going to do another pinch twist on the front. Take this balloon here, pinch twist
it like this…now when you tuck the neck back on the swan that’s going to stay a
little better and it kind of gives it a nicer more finish look, so we shape the head using
the shaping techniques I showed you, give this a little curve to the neck. Now later
on I’m going to teach you a technique called snapping and I’m going to do a little bit
of that now so I can show you how to add a second color onto your swan, so if you take
a swan, now that you’ve done this here and this here the two pinch twists you have anchor
points so what we’re going to do is we’re going to start at the back, we’re going
to take a second balloon, tie the knot around the pinch twist like that, then you feed this
along here, we’re going to wrap this around so this is attached on here you got as an
anchor point, we’re going to come back, twist this off, twist that around the other
pinch twist and then to give this a little bit of a tail I’m going to show you how
to do the snap later on so we’re going to break that off and then retie this section
and that’ll give us a swan with pinch twist, a little more detail and two colors.
