Been with Allstate for 28 years; 17 of that was as a sales manager.
Became an Allstate agent about two years ago, when I bought this agency.
I kind of got to a point where I really wanted to do things my own way.
I learned so much from working with all the other agents over the years.
It was really a perfect fit for me.
Thank you for calling Allstate. This is Linda. How can I help you?
You can’t do this business without having really good staff people.
I would say that’s the single most important thing in the business,
is having the right people in place.
We get to know our customers. We get to know them on a personal level.
We get to know their families. We share in the losses that they have.
It’s really about just caring for people, caring for your customers,
and being willing to go the extra mile when you need to, to take care of them.
The things that they do to recognize successful people
in this position are just – they’re off the charts.
We’ve been to Europe, been to Hawaii, multiple places within the United States.
Been to the Bahamas, Bermuda. There’s just been
trips that really, you’ll remember for the rest of your life.
They do a really, really nice job of rewarding you for doing a good job.
You’ve got a company with good people,
you’ve got a company that has a fantastic marketing program.
They’ve got a brand that is probably more recognizable
than any other brand in the insurance business.
Thanks for calling Allstate. This is Brad Manning. How can I help you?
And you’ve got an opportunity to run your own business. It’s a home run.
I enjoy coming to work every day.
I like having the independence to make the decisions on how I want to run the business.
Financially, it’s been very good as well. The sky’s the limit with this.
You just have to go out there and get it.
It’s been – best change I ever made. Love it.
