From time to time I receive several emails
Some are from people who thank me for what I do
Who comment their experience with my videos
And those emails really motivate me a lot
And there are others who write me because they need a more personal advice
I am talking to young people who are between 13 and 24 years old and the topic is the same most of the time
***
People...I hate ***...I hate the destruction it brings...
I hate its addiction, the result of its consumption...
I hate its degradation to women...women's reduction to an object to satisfy a selfish pleasure
I hate its deception...it promises satisfaction and it leaves you emptier than before
I hate the way it corrupts and distorts the mind of a man
I say this because I love you...and I am here to serve you as much as I can
So this is a letter for my dear friend addicted to ***
To you who wrote me...
Thanks for writing me and being honest with me...that really takes some guts and I admire you for that
I greet you who are willing to fight for purity
those who are not happy with mediocrity
those who have found a real treasure and are willing to aspire to a radical and passionate life
and above all those who fight, above all, to please, honor and serve God
even though sometimes it seems... impossible
I have several things I want to tell you
It is obvious that you have tried to be free from this addiction
You have made an effort...you are tired...you are fed up...you are desperate to be free, since you know that every time you decide to come back to this habit…
you are breaking the heart of your God, and this breaks your heart
It makes you feel dirty...
that you are not worthy...that you are hypocrite...and this fills you of guilt and shame...
and on top of that, you feel empty...that you are a slave...that you are trapped in your sin of ***
that you are trapped in this addiction
I want to ask you something...how many slaves are set free on their own?
how many dead come back to life on their own?....None
You need a hero...you need intervention...
You need someone greater than you with more power and strength who intervenes...
someone to save you, not just from this sin, but also from the others that separate you from your God creator and that brings death
Maybe surprises you…but His name is Jesus
You can not free on your own...you tried and failed
Jesus is known as The Savior, who came...
to set free the ones who were captive and oppressed
The one who offers, not only justice, but mercy, grace, love, restoration and transformation
And here is my message...run to Him...ask Him for help...trust Him...call on His name
cause He answers...He intervenes...He saves
He cleans...He sets free...when you are in Christ, the Bible says that you will receive...
power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you...how big is that power?...
the same power of the Holy Spirit that raised Jesus from the death...
it is the same one you receive when you are in Christ...
that power is greater and stronger than your addiction to ***
God is the one who saves you...God is the one who helps you
God is the one who sets you free...God is the one who trains you...
God is the one who works in your life to perfect you...
and if you are in Christ, I want to tell you this...
You belong to God
On the cross of Christ, everything that made you an enemy of God...
was put upon Jesus
All your sin, all your dirt, all your perversion…
LETTER TO THE ADDICT TO ***
all your guilt and shame...
He absorbed it all and you are no longer under wrath but under mercy
Any accusation that can be presented against you, before God, any sin...
Jesus comes in action and says....No...
I paid for that...He says about you...you are my adopted son...
perfect, pure, righteous, saint, blameless...you are mine
The only reason why today you are forgiven, justified and called son of God...
it is not because of your performance and effort...
It is only and exclusively because of the work of Christ on the cross
You belong to God and when you are under the coverage of Jesus...
God sees you perfect, clean, a saint and pure...
And that’s only because of His grace.
And what does that mean?
That because God is the one who rescues, sets free, transforms and saves, you do not do anything?
No.....on the contrary...that means that since it is God backing you up....
it is God who is under control and it is He who gives you power to conquer...now it is your turn to fight with more strength than before...
with more passion than before...with more aggressiveness …always fixing your sight and trust and dependency on the one who has never lost a battle...
Jesus Christ your God. Keep fighting, keep looking for help, keep renewing your mind through His Word
keep being careful of what comes in through your eyes...keep being accountable to someone…keep getting up...keep coming back to repentance...
keep growing in passion for your Savior...keep trusting in Him who began the good work in you, because He is faithful to finish it....
and perfect it
