Living on campus is an experience
I definitely highly recommend it
The people here made it a fun process
I met most of my friends freshman year
I lived in the dorms
The majority of the people I met were really outgoing
First year, I lived on campus
The campus housing is gorgeous
I really liked the dorms here as well, they're very nice
probably the best part of Penn State Harrisburg
Everything's close together
It's kind of nice to be able to live so close you don't have to wake up an hour early to go to classes,
you just kind of get up and go
Mainly all the classes are in the Olmstead building which is the biggest building on campus
I'm able to enjoy going to different activities
They have benches outside of all the dorms and a lot of people get together get together when it's nice out
and they play kickball, softball
toss frizbee, toss a football
The different living options are you can either live on campus or you can live off-campus
I have commuted all four years
I live about ten minutes away
It was a short commute and it just seemed to be the right fit
I chose off campus, so I'm living in the village of Pineford, about a mile off campus
In college you're always kind of on a tight schedule, you're always rushing from place to place
so Stacks, which is the cafeteria on campus, is a great place to go
Stacks is where you meet everybody and you get the chance to see everybody
They have a TV and some couches
Stacks has really good food
They've got pretty much everything, from your snacks to your full course meals
There's also the Biscottis, which is like a little coffee shop, it's kind of the Penn State Starbucks
They have good coffee there
My favorite food on campus has to be probably chicken fingers and fries
Cajun chicken; The chicken cosmo; The vegetarian pizza
Now they've started bringing in a Sushi shop
Turkey Pretzels; Sandwich thing; The chicken parmesan
Big fat burrito bowls; Sushi; Cheeseburger and fries
Chicken fritter wraps are amazing
I eat everything and I eat big so ain't anything as good as Stacks
