hello everybody, welcome on ONLO26 channel
and welcome for this first tutorial, about how to align shapes
... in Power Point 2010, Ok so this is my first tutorial, this is my first
channel and I would like to apologize if I
make some mistakes because I'm not english at the basis. So I try to
speak english in order to
to share when I can ...
give you
Ok so,
sorry if you don't always understand what I'm trying to say
but feel free to
ask ... anything you want about
Excel, Word, or
Power Point I'll try to be
the clearer I can, okay?
okay so let's begin, first of all I would like to show you
what is the result I would like you to get that this is five squares okay
aligned with each other here, we can see
the gap between it's the same
and perfectly aligned
on the center and perfectly aligned
on the mioddle of the slide okay
so
we begin here with this empty slide first of all I would like you to put
a gridline on the
slide so you click on
"view", here
you tick
gridlines ok, and you see gridlines appearing on the slide.
first, now we're going to insert the shape
the basis shape which is
the square so
let's click on insert, then
shapes
alright, and choose here the square, well it's not for the moment a square but
it'll become a square you have to hold
and to make make this shape become a square
the "shift"key, here
for people who don't know where it is
it's here on your keyboard
you hold it, ok, and you start drawing it
it will allow you to keep the proportion of the square with four equal
slides
Now I would like to remove the outlines so I select the square
go to "format"
"shape outline" here
then I click on no outline I have my
my base square
I would like now to
copy it ok so we gonna use right now
control "CTRL" key
on your keyboard just under the "shift" key
So like for the "shift" key you're going to click
hold, sorry
the "control" (CTRL) key
firts of all you select your square, you click on control then you press "c"
to copy
then your release all the keys and you holf
an other time "CTRL"
and this time, you're going to press "v"
in order to paste the square you've just copied. So we are going to
do this four times, in order to get five squares. So 1, 2, 3, 4
okay so here
I have my five squares
and I'm starting right now to distribute them
horizontally so,
first of all i'm gonna
make the edge of my
alignment,so I
I select
for example that square and i'm going to align it with this line
okay so you can finish with the arrow
I'm gonna take that one
and you see I align them, here
on the"10", why do this ? because in the result
the edge's squares
are positioned on the "10" here you see it
and here
you see it either, alright
so, sorry
let's return here
now I have positioned my two
edge's squares
I'm gonna select
all of them, like that, ok
I go back to format
click on align, then
distribute horizontally here
clack, and you see the gap between
each square is the same
this is what we want
now we still have the all squares selected
we're going now to align them in the middle with each other
so we return on "align" here
then we click on "align middle"
okay great
you see
we are getting closer to the results
now it's done
we are going to
make them, make all of them
aligned on the slide that time, not with each other, but on the slide, so we reselect it all
like that
and we click on format
we are going to group
we group
all the form, and you can see
now it's only one object
you see it
now
so
I've decided to align them so, I put them anywhere in order to show you
what is the
the action to do
you click on "format"
"align"
first of all we are going to align them
at the center of the slide
we return in "align" and now we're going to align them in the middle of the slide
ok here we are
so now, we are
almost done
we just have to make the gradient
with the blue color
and we'll be done so look if I click on the object I have
aligned with the center and here
aligned with the middle
but now in order to color all the
squares I have to
I have
to be able to select them
one-by-one so I have to ungroup what I've done
so I click, no sorry, I click on
the object
go to "format", "group"
and now when you're going "ungroup" the selection
well that's done
let's select right now the first square
"format"
"shape fill"
you're going to take the fourth column
and the first square here "dark blue text 2, lighter 80%"
you click on it
you select the second it we're going to follow the gradient which is forecast
by Office, ok 2, then 3, 4,
then 5. great,
here we are we've done it
we have exactly the same result as what we were looking for
so you have five squares
perfectly align on the slide okay
perfectly aligned with each other and we've a gradient of blue. Thank you
very much, for having seen
this video
and feel free to ask.. could you have any question about any
element of the office pack
2010 or
even if you have uh... former version is not a problem we can
try to do something for you
thank you very much and see you soon ! Bye !
