In this video, we’ll show you how to create a query to find constituents with birthdays in a specific month.
From the Queries tab, click Manage Queries.
In the Query Categories screen, select a category to store your query.
Click New Query under Tasks.
Name your query. For this example, we’ll query constituents that have a birthday in May, so we’ll call it May Birthdays.
Leave all options as they default, with a starting criteria of All Constituents.
Let’s add criteria to the query.
I have a user-defined field that tracks birthdays on constituent accounts, so I will select the category UDF – Constituent to find my field.
Click the field where you store birthdays.
Since we want a date range that includes all May birthdays, we select the Month/Day range type.
For the start and end dates, I will enter the first and last day of the month.
To run the query, select “Preview” in the drop- down menu and click Save And.
