I think when I started at OU I kind of had an idea as of what I wanted to do,
and just went directly down that path.
And I think that was somewhat of a mistake.
I mean it's good to have some direction,
but I think it's smart to go into it with some different ideas of what you might want to pursue...
and to try different classes.
Just to see if there's another outlet that you might want to go down so you don't waste several years, I guess...
in one direction, when really you want to do something a little different.
So, I would just say to try different things and really open yourself up to experience different things and have fun.
Because this is the last time you really have a summer break, a spring break, the last time you really get the freedom to do quite a bit of different things.
I think when you leave high school you're sort of in a bubble,
and so I think it really pushed me to experience things and meet people that I wouldn't otherwise,
and really put myself in situations where I was challenging myself on increasingly different levels throughout all my years in college...
and so I think now being in a position, regardless of what my degree is,
professionally I'm having to do that.
Having to step out of the box and constantly challenge myself.
So I think for anyone that is what college does.
And it was a lot of fun.
My husband and I actually both graduated there.
So we go to the OU football games.
We're both a part of OU Alumni Association.
We live in Norman.
Neither of us were from there when we went to school there,
but we both fell in love with the town,
and so we have a 1 and 1/2 year old.
That we put in the stroller and go to Campus Corner and we walk around and walk on campus...
We're instilling in her, OU, OU.
