Hi, everyone!
This is the first video of a series I created to the channel, called "in 2 minutes."
I'll go through all of the steps of a standard makeup in short, very didatic videos
for the people who don't have the time or the patience for long videos.
Or if you have a friend in need of a highlighter trick, so you get the highlighter video and send her.
The outcome will be this makeup, but I recorded each step separately.
So let us start today with foundation. I hope you like it!
I like to put a bit of liquid foundation at the back of my hand to pick it up with a brush.
You pick it up little by little because it is always better to start with a thin coat and,
if you want to, make it thicker on the needed spots.
The key thing here is to spread it.
I like to make downward circled moves with the brush.
Think of the fine hair on your face: if you move the brush upwards, that fine hair raises up.
So, always brush downwards.
I like to put foundation over the black circles, eyelids and lips in order to neutralize the face skin tones.
You'll need less concealer by doing because the foundation already does some concealing work.
The circling and spreading out movement is nice,
but I sometimes also tap it around to focus more product on certain spots.
You can put it on with a brush, sponge or your fingers.
You can make any combination of those too.
For example: you can start spreading it with your fingers on your whole face and finish it up with a brush.
Or you start with the brush and use a sponge to press it down so the foundation "belongs" to your skin.
Pay attention to the jaw line!
It won't look good if it is not well spread and you leave a division between your face and neck.
You can even put a bit of it on your ears if the foundation colour does not quite match your skin.
