Hello and welcome back to bridal bites. Now how could we end the series without culminating
in the all important wedding cake. I am going to show you how to create your own for less.
[music] Here is a great way to save money on your
wedding cake. We have pre ordered three different sized iced cakes from our local supermarket.
We have trimmed ours with some ribbon here, but of course, you can do any color that matches
your theme. So we have heated up some apricot jam that we are going to use as glue to stick
the three tiers together. [music]
Perfect. And now we are ready to decorate. I am going to make some icing roses. I am
going to roll out my icing and now I need five circles cut out. I have made a little
icing stem from my petal to stick onto. So I am going to take my petal and I am just
going to put a little bit of water around there and then that is gonna stick on if I
just pinch it and then that will wrap together. Then, add your next petal, just tuck it in,
so then they all stick together, you need to pinch it once more and add a little bit
of water to make it stick. Get your third one, a little bit of water to use as glue,
start rolling, little pinch and it is starting to take shape and then continue to do this
for the next two. Then with a knife you can just gently open up the petals and then you
can just chop off the stem. And there is my first one.
[music] With a piping bag of icing , we are just going
to stick on our roses. And there you have it, a beautiful wedding cake for a fraction
of the cost. If you have missed any of the episodes in this series, you can find them
all in the playlist. Thanks for watching and happy wedding planning.
