A Medieval Feast
Story by Dale Anderson
and photos by Titus Fong
Today is the 13th of October in the the year 1150.
The King has invited everyone to his fall-feast.
Everyone comes in the afternoon.
There is much to eat.
The King has chicken, fish, fruit, and wine,
but they must wait for the King to come before they can eat.
Finally, the King arrives on his horse.
He says, "Begin the Feast!"
Everyone eats and drinks until they no longer can.
The King sits with his subjects and talks happily.
Finally, everyone watches the Jester juggle.
The children think it is very funny!
After a wonderful feast, everyone goes back home.
"Until next year!" says the King.
