Australia's High Court has struck down the capital’s same-sex marriage law, less than
a week after it began.
The court said it's up to parliament to decide whether to approve same-sex unions.
A ban on gay adoption has been lifted in Northern Ireland this week.
The UK Supreme Court overturned the ban allowing gay and unmarried couples to adopt.
Martina Navratilova and Jason Collins have criticised the International Olympic Committee
for “putting their head in the sand” over Russia’s anti-gay laws.
They also criticised FIFA for awarding the 2022 World Cup to Qatar, where *** is
punishable by up to 5 years in prison.
Straight male German celebrities have been photographed kissing each other to fight homophobia.
GQ Deutschland launched 'Gentleman against Homophobia' in support of their Mundepropaganda
online campaign.
And finally, actor Ben Whishaw will play legendary Queen frontman, Freddie Mercury in a new biopic.
The film will focus on Mercury’s formative years, leading up to the band’s performance
at Live Aid in 1985.
