And another really good way to fix errors once you've made them is if you know your
subject really well chances are if you do make a mistake it's one that you've made before
because you've painted the same subject a few times and you learned how to fix it. And
it's another way to become very proficient at your subject matter is to stick with that
and know it and learn it and be very comfortable with it. So as an example if I made an error
on any of this leather. I've painted enough leather through the years that I would know
exactly how to fix it. I would know what I would need to do to get the color back to
where I needed it. Or I would know what to do to fix, how to fix it so it work and chances
are nobody would notice it so again that comes with picking a subject that you truly do love
and you truly do know because chances are if you don't know the subject well enough
and you make an error and you miss it the person looking at it is probably going to
pick that error right out and they may not be happy with the piece. So definitely pick
something that you know and you love. And as you learn it your errors will become less
and less because you'll be more and more comfortable with your subject matter.
