Hello natural ladies and gents! This is WillsGirl2005 Im doing a puff updo today- I call it the
greek goddess puff. Its inspired by another YouTuber named LovelyAnneka. If you havent
been to her channel check her out. Im just parting my hair into a V section- Im doing
smaller twists on my right side and jumbo twists on my left. So Im starting on my smaller
twists, making about half inch sections and securing them with rubber bands. ( Music Plays)
Ok so my smaller twists on the right side are all done, so now its time to get started
on the jumbo twists. Before I start my jumbo twists Im going to section of a small section
above my ear and part it into about half inch size sections and twist them slightly above
my ear. Im gonna leave it loose because like on a previous video Im going to merge these
small twists into my first jumbo twist. So I just twist them and I leave it loose so
that when I began my jumbo twist I can just add them and make it one big twist. ( MUSIC
PLAYS)
Now Im starting my second large twist. Im twisting it looser than the first one. I kinda
want them to have a graduated look, after Im done twisting them Im gonna kinda raise
them up. So Im not twisting this one very taut to the scalp, Im leaving it a little
loose so that I can pull up the hair a little bit, as Im doing now. Then I do my third large
twist, pull up the hair a little bit to make it look graduated. Smooth it down, and now
its time to get that hair out of the way so that I can flat twist the back. Now in order
to do my goddess puff, I want my hair to be stretched. Since my hair is still damp and
has leave in conditioner on it Im gonna use my B&B twisting cream and comb it out to make
sure that its smooth, and flat two strand twist it down the back. So for the next couple
of days Ill be re-twisting my hair at night so that it will be stretched when I get ready
to wear my puff. So Im just tying my hair down with a scarf to make it smooth. So Ill
see you in a couple days. So 2 days have gone by- Ive been re-twisting it to keep it stretched.
Nothing major just some big twists all over the back. Im gonna put a little oil on my
hair so that I can complete my puff. Now that Ive gotten all my hair aloose in the back,
Im just gonna clip that hair in the front out of the way, and gently wet my hair down
with water so that I can gel it down for a smooth finish. Im using my Eco Styler gel
very generously. Im using quite alot of gel, more than Im actually showing in the video,
so dont be shy about using alot of gel and doing a lot of brushing. After its all geelled
and brushed, I decided what size puff I wanted, I took a knee high and tied it around my head
at the crown and tying it in the back. Then I slowly took the knee high and slowly pulled
it down to my desired puff size. ( MUSIC PLAYS) After I got my puff like I wanted it, I tucked
in my knee high and secured it with a bobby pin. For some reason with my hair when I use
a knee high for a style as my hair dries the knee high moves and I have to secure it with
a bobby pin. Now Im just re-twisting my jumbo twists in the front, adding a little gel to
them so that they will dry smooth. Then I pin them in the back around my puff and thats
what kind of gives it that greek goddess look. Thats basically it for the style. So now Im
going to take half of a pack of the yaki braiding hair, and Im going to twist it into a long
ponytail and secure it around my puff in like a double twist as you see in the picture.
Im sorry that I didnt get video of that, my memory card ran out and I didnt take the time
to film it. But thanks for watching and I hope you enjoyed the style. Bye!
