Ciaooo girls, so this is the tutorial I wore in the video when Claudio killed me
similar to that I had in my last video, the nail polish review
the only difference is that instead of a black eye pencil I used
this, which is the guerlain kohl, thus the effect was natural... not really natural but a bit less intense
as with the black pencil it is more 'woosh' (stronger), while with this (kohl) the effect is a bit more blended resulting in a lighter look
the main difference between this look and the other ones is that in this one I decided to make the lower side of the eye darker, heavier
and I've kept the upper part of the eye much lighter, just a bit of eye shadow and highlighter but nothing else
a style I've noticed on the runaways makeup for the upcoming season
keeping the eyes very heavy in their lower part, leaving the upper part lighter.
I like such effect, but it is not a makeup I suggest to people with dark circles under their eyes
because naturally this look is going to make them look even darker
but... I really love this effect!
so... a kiss, ciaooooo!
as a base I use the mac frost white light gel eyeliner, with a perl-like white color
then on the rest of the upper eye I put the second color on the shimmer palette
a color that resembles a warm white, like heavy cream...
with some pinkish reflexes, shades...
often i just start a makeup like this, simply putting a light base on the eye
which is very simple but many girls I see around do it wrongly putting the light base very roughly, not blurring it as it should
both on the left side and right side of the eye, so they achieve a very unpleasant effect, almost a white block stuck in their eyes, so remember to blend well!
both on the left side and right side of the eye, so they achieve a very unpleasant effect, almost a white block stuck in their eyes, so remember to blend well!
then, from the matte palette I take a matte brown
very lightly I apply it
I blur it upwards here at the end of the eye
then I bring it inside, just a tad on top of the eye fold
as I want to keep the lower part light and bright and the upper part darker
when you use a eye shadow try to work on the eye, but remember to close and open it every now and then
as it is a mistake a see over and over... you do your makeup with just keeping one eye closed but
then when you open your eye it has a different effect so make sure to open/close the eye you're making up
then from the shimmer palette I put a bit of dark brown
the next to the last, the one on top of the black pigment
then I take a little bit of the pearl white I used in the beginning (from the shimmer palette) and I blend it outwards
now the lower part... I used this pencil from essence, long lasting black
it's very soft so it writes very easily inside the eye and it also really lasts a long time
I used it for the halloween party and it lasted the whole night
I trace a quite thick line in the lower side of the eye
I use this little brush with a bit of black eye shadow
first fixing the pencil and then blurring downwards
so back and forth, with a bit of black eye shadow on a small brush I work on the pencil base
I take another small brush, a clean one and then
I first blur with it, then I pass it on a piece of paper to remove the excess product
I blend and the I clean it on the paper (repeat)
(... chipmonks transformation...)
I blend it out very lightly in the end of the eye, bringing the color up towards the brown
to be sure I put a bit more black in the inner eye
and a little bit of black eye shadow on top of it (with the small brush)
why have I blended it and then passed it on paper?
because this way it becomes more a 'smoky' look, I don't like to have a very thick and precise line on the lower eye part
so to make it lighter I work on it gradually with the small brush, to make sure the product is not excessive
now mascara... a lot of mascara!
to balance the fact that we have so much dark color below we put a lot of mascara, if you use false eyelashes (for an evening party) even better
this is the final eye look
on my cheeks I've put some blush from l'oreal called raspberry
on the lips I put a natural shade of pink, similar to my own lip's color
this is a long lasting lipstick from stila
anyway any pinkish lipstick should do the trick
ok this is the final look hope you like it, ciaoooo
