Natural fats are the saturated fats that can be found as solids like lard, butter, meat-fat of the skin of birds. The problem is that they can also become solid in our body and hence we should rationalize its use.
On the other hand, there are the non-saturated fats, which can be found as liquids, for instance olive oil, sunflower or canola oil. Other sources of non-saturated fats are fish and seeds.
The particular characteristic of these fats is the fact that they have Omega-3 and Omega-6, which are essential to maintain an adequate blood flow and thus protect the heart. It’s important to eat everyday foods that contain this type of fats.
Therefore, fats are not really harmful but you should learn when and what type of fat you can eat for a better quality of life.
