Hi I just want to get an exchange for a four liter no name brand ice cream container.
I talked with Cynthia, the store manager.
Yup
And what happened was the bottom was cracked. And basically two liters of it seeped into
my car carpet.
Yeaaa.... / And I bought Zehrs quality stuff I did not expect that kind of thing.
Okay can you go back and just get one.
Yea um / What did she say.
She said I can return it or get an exchange. And she said I could call her personally.
Oh she's on holiday now.
Yea okay.
Um and she was also supposed to follow up with Customer Relations.
Someone was supposed to call me or email me and no one did.
And this is / a car.
It's great I get the value back, but I basically had to pay someone to clean my car.

Um she's away for another week I think.

No I actually paid up front to take care of it for me because I had to get to work some
how and I had to leave my car with someone.
Because if you had had it done because I know that Zehrs in the past has reimbursed people
for that,
Through stick cars or something.
I actually called her before I did anything and she told me the store would not do anything
for me.
I know it was done in the past. I guess different store policy.
And so I didn't have a softvac so my friend said he would do it but he borrowed or rented
it or something to clean it from me.
Yup okay / So I don't know if they saved the receipt.

Well the store manager will be out shortly so you can talk to him.

I can refund the ice cream if you want.
I want to get an exchange if that's possible / Yup! that's fine.
And I don't know if you still have it because it's from a bargain bin or something. It was
honestly a spontaneous buy.
Is there any way you can mark my receipt so when I check out / Yea it's fine.
Because if I get it now, it's going to melt and if I want to go back shopping its just
going to melt.

Because I talked to Cynthia, and she said I should give this to head office. She doesn't
know what or when they are going to call you.
I haven't heard from anyone Cindy.

I was very lucky to encounter your ice cream sale, four liter no name and I was lucky to
get the last butterscotch flavour and
I didn't inspect the container because its Zehrs. It was cracked, so by the time I got
into Camrbidge, two liters had seeped right into the carpet of my car.
Like it was a real mess. And
basically I was left without a car and had to get a ride from someone to drive into Guelph
to go to school to go to work. And I passed my car on to a friend. Who probably got a
friend who had a friend who had a softvac and so I still have to pay if they rented
it.
Yea / And it's dairy in the carpet so...and I go to Zehrs all the time and I'm a mastercard
user and it's kinda disappointing if you cannot help me out a little bit or something.
Head office...Cynthia would tell me. She did send it off. And like if you called back,
she said they would call you back as soon as they can. As soon as possible.
Like I didn't hear from anyone in the office from yesterday and today. So
So...maybe I'm not sure how fast they get back to you.

Yea I thought I was lucky, ending up I had a big mess. With dairy. It's the worst.

But Heather said she was on vacation. Should be until past the long weekend. She works

I think she's off the Monday, but she's back the rest of the week.

Okay / Everyday. Or Monday is bad for her.
Is this 5:30 or 4:30? Is she in? I'm curious.
The best part of the day to call her is anywhere from 1 to 5 o'clock. Because if we're working
days, we're working from one to five.
That's why I missed her, because I got back even later because I got a ride from someone
so...I didn't get back until 6:30 or so.
Okay, I'll try to call her before five.
