Hi, Angela and Sara.
Hi, how are you?
I'm fine, fine.
Hi Lena.
Hi girls.
Lena, how is your job search going?
I'm doing okay, but I haven't found a job yet.
Yesterday I went to an interview,
and the manager asked me questions
that I couldn't answer very well.
Oh, really? What kind of questions?
Questions about my past experience, my job skills.
I didn't know what to say about things that I can do.
It was really, really frustrating,
because I know that I can do the job.
Yeah, I know, it is frustrating.
Sometimes I can't find the right words to say when I'm at work.
I know what to tell or ask my boss,
but I can't seem to say what I need.
I'm afraid to speak a lot of the time,
and then my boss gets mad at me because I didn't do something.
And, I am always getting into trouble in my job
because I don't know what to say and when to say it.
And I don't know if I should ask for permission
to be late or just be late.
And sometimes I think it's easier just be late
and say "I'm sorry."
Yeah, you have a reason, yeah. 'Cause you know what?
There's a couple things that I don't understand,
'cause for me I just want a better job,
more money, or just get a promotion.
Um, sometimes I see other people getting a better job,
and I don't know why.
We have a lot of questions, don't we?
Yeah, that's true.
