CHRIS O'DONNELL: Hi, I'm Chris.
And I'm here to tell you about the word activate.
It's a cool word, right?
I love the word activate.
But what does it mean?
Well, let me tell you.
Activate means to start or turn on.
And right now, I'm going to use this remote control to
activate this robot.
Watch me turn on the robot.
[BEEP]
[MUSIC PLAYING]
CHRIS O'DONNELL: Looks like I hit the wrong button.
I activated the music and I didn't mean to
start playing music.
[BEEP]
[MUSIC ENDS]
CHRIS O'DONNELL: All right, let me try again.
Here I go.
Activating the robot.
[BEEP]
[ALARM RINGING]
CHRIS O'DONNELL: Oh no!
That's not good.
I just activated some kind of alarm system!
[ALARM ENDS]
CHRIS O'DONNELL: I totally did not mean to turn on an alarm.
All right, let me try one more time.
[BEEP]
CHRIS O'DONNELL: Oh no!
I activated the sprinklers!
[BEEP]
CHRIS O'DONNELL: Oh man, I give up.
ELMO: What's wrong, Mr. Chris?
CHRIS O'DONNELL: I'm trying to activate this robot, but I
don't know how to turn it on.
ELMO: [GIGGLES]
Did Mr. Chris try the power button?
CHRIS O'DONNELL: Power button?
ELMO: This one right here.
[BEEPING]
ROBOT: Robot activated.
CHRIS O'DONNELL: Thanks Elmo!
ELMO: There you go!
CHRIS O'DONNELL: Thanks for activating my robot!
ELMO: You're welcome!
ROBOT: Oh look, a remote.
CHRIS O'DONNELL: No, no!
Don't press any buttons!
[ALARM BLARING]
ROBOT: Eep!
I'm out of here!
CHRIS O'DONNELL: Activate.
