Hello.
My name is Michael Powell and this is my first semester in the Masters of
Educational Technology program. I live in Due West, South Carolina
This small town is located in the upper part of the state.
During my free time, I like to travel and take pictures.
I also love to go to Greenville Drive minor league baseball games
and Clemson University football and baseball games. I want to attend a
Boise State football games soon.
I discovered, during my time as a
teacher in my present district, I do not have adequate technology skills to give
my students the best education possible.
I am pursuing a degree in educational technology
to meet the needs up of an ever-changing world and the needs
of students that are from a technology driven environment. I hope to achieve
from this program
the skills needed to teach online classes, create web pages with links to
study guides and videos for material we're studying in class,
and gain educational technology tools to
to better motivate my students to perform at their best
