Welcome to keep up with this regatta, as is not annotated but only subtitled.
I sail the boat you see in the picture, which I also have designed, like all boats with Swedish flag.
I've also designed the track with all of the turns.
I edited this regatta, just because I wanted to test and train more with flying cameras.
I got too much impact with flying camera, so I changed a lot.
But it's still being too much flying camera in places.
I was too tired so I could not change more.
We sail in expert in degree of difficulty.
I may not use any F keys and must constantly sail from inside the boat at the wheel.
We sail around three minutes to find the best position at the start.
I may not use any arrows, show how good I am sailing into the wind.
I decided to start at the far right.
1:20 left to to start now.
I decided to try to reach the highest momentum, as early as possible before the start.
Nice boat in mahogany and teak that I designed.
Now I try to get into the straight course and get the highest speed over the starting line.
There is a risk that other boats get in the way and stops. I'm not bumping into a boat.
If I prevent or running into a boat, so I get penalty and must make a turn around in 360 degrees.
I did well with my plans and ran at full speed across the starting line.
Since it was a very long start line in this regatta, so you could choose many different tracks.
I decided to stay the course as long as possible, before I turn over and turn left.
I want to stay the course so long that once I turn left, I want to run exactly straight at the mark.
Now I turn over and run the port check.
Have I calculated right now, so I'll get in perfectly to the mark when rounding.
I must now run as straight as possible and take some risks.
I know it will be tight sailing now.
I know that I have advantage in my check and the orange and green boat must give way to me.
I manage to keep the maximum speed without change my course as I planned.
Penalty on AI 8
I see that it's going to be tight sailing and risk of penalty then.
There, AI 7 penalty.
I managed perfectly with my track and can maintain a high speed and have good course.
I now have boats here on both sides and is concerned for penalty.
Very dense sailing will be here. But I want to keep my speed and my tracks.
I have a tough fight against the yacht's teak.
I lie in the outer groove at the next turn. Not so good because I have to hold out long.
Does my boat behind in the turn, I will get penalty.
I chose to try to get high speed in the turn and get good space for the boat alongside.
I succeed, however, did not keep pace with the highest spinnaker, but loses momentum towards the boat alongside.
Lost more than 10 feet in the distance.
I now plan to try to run, so that I get inside turn at the next turn.
Managed to bring in 5 feet of the turn.
I always run well on the check, so I try to plan and look ahead.
Next turn is to the right, so I try to plan to run well, so that I get inside turn.
I start the turn early and succeed maintain high speed through the turn.
I earned more than 10 feet at the turn.
I have to try to keep my course, for to come in right next to rounding.
But I do not like when it gets very tight sailing here. High risk of going on a penalty.
The boat in leading is fast on any route, so we fail to take into it.
I lost a few feet of distance there, but now the inner turn again.
I make a perfect swing, but puts early spinnaker, without checking the wind properly.
I was lucky that the boat behind ran on me and got penalty.
But I made a big mistake by putting spinnaker here and lose a lot of speed and many feet here.
Now it is really far forward to lead the boat, but I usually fight to the finish line.
Next turn is the last before the finish. I have to plan carefully how to run the last leg.
The last turn is to the left and we will be able to sail on the spinnaker towards the finish line.
The situation looks hopeless, but anything can happen in a regatta.
It is not good to run with the wind straight from behind. Breads therefore run with the angle to the wind.
If I turn early can I use angles better.
However, the boat behind has caught up with me and I can not make a tight turn as I thought.
I have to keep out of the turn and get now problems running with good angle to the wind.
I see the boat in front has problems with wind in the spinnaker in that angle.
I therefore try to keep as much right I can toward the finish line.
I drive at the limit of what is possible and take very great risk here.
The risk is that I miss the finish line and going out too far to the right.
But I see that I take in a lot on the boat in the direction and tries to give all I have before the finish line.
Here you can see how far to the right I'm and it becomes difficult to get inside the mark.
Here I pass and go up in the lead.
Minimum margin to come in right over the finish line.
