IRMA: I use the internet virtually for
everything in my life.
Before I get in the shower, I have an app that tells me what
the weather conditions are going to be.
MICHELLE: It's a lot easier for me and more accessible to
be able just to look up something quickly online, as
opposed to try to track down a magazine or a newspaper.
IRMA: Newsweek, TED--
I just get a quick read of the news.
And then I go into my work.
ALBERT: As soon I wake up, I check Facebook.
Check on my fans, check out what's going on.
Checking the price of gas, checking the news, checking my
email, chatting with my friends.
IRMA: I'm always connected to the internet, which today, for
me, is essential.
ALBERT: I do watch videos when I'm at lunch sometimes.
And nowadays, most websites usually have some video in it,
themselves, like ComedyCentral.
IRMA: I like hulu.com.
I love YouTube.
MICHELLE: I actually do watch YouTube videos.
But usually it's for cosmetic reviews.
And again, that dictates what I'm
going to actually purchase.
MICHELLE: Essentially, I use my iPhone for almost
everything.
I use it for web searches.
I use it if I'm driving in order to find
out where I'm going.
I tend to do all of my information in terms of movies
or whatever I'm going to do for the weekend.
IRMA: Right before lunchtime, some of the restaurants are
now sending me a text message.
We're having a special lunch today.
It's this much.
ALBERT: I may take my laptop and watch TV. But I'm still on
the internet as I'm watching TV.
MICHELLE: I've actually been known to have the TV on as
background noise, and watch a movie through
Netflix on my iPad.
IRMA: I have my iPad in the kitchen.
I want to cook something new.
So I'll look up the recipe on the internet.
All you have to do is ask Google.
ALBERT: My normal strategy when I go shopping is to go
look at the product, and actually feel it and touch it
at the store.
But then I always research online.
MICHELLE: I never used to look at reviews.
And now I definitely pay attention more to the reviews
that certain things get.
ALBERT: I work in a web development company.
So we obviously have to do a lot of research.
We book trips online.
We check for hotels online.
IRMA: I do most of my research online.
For me, it's the fastest and easiest way to look up
information.
