Welcome to The 700 Club. What's happening in Iran may well have prophetic significance.
The Muslims call the 12th Imam the Mahdi. And new evidence shows that this Islamic messiah
is about to appear as far as they can tell. That's according to the Iranian government
itself.
And a new video shows that Iran believes the turmoil in the Middle East is a sign that
the end times are near. Erick Stakelbeck has this exclusive report.
The revolutionary movements gripping the Middle East have created uncertainty throughout the
region, but in the eyes of the Iranian regime, the chaos means their ultimate victory is
at hand. CBN News has obtained an exclusive copy of a propaganda video that has reportedly
been approved at the highest levels of the Iranian government. It's called "The Coming
is Near," and it describes current events in the Middle East as a prelude to the arrival
of the mythical 12th Imam or Mahdi, the messiah figure who Islamic scriptures say will lead
the armies of Islam to victory over all non-Muslims in the last days.
This video has been produced by a group called the Conductors of the Coming, in connection
with the Basiji, the Iranian paramilitary force, and in collaboration with the Iranian
president's office.
Reza Kahlili is a pseudonym for this former member of Iran's Revolutionary Guards who
shared the video with CBN News. Kahlili worked as a double agent for the CIA inside the Iranian
regime. We've hid his face and disguised his voice for his safety.
Just a few weeks ago, the president's office screened this movie with much excitement for
the clerics. The target audience is the Muslims throughout the Middle East and the world.
The video claims that Iran is destined to rise as a great power in the last days to
help defeat America and Israel and usher in the return of the Mahdi. And it makes clear
the Iranians believe that time is fast approaching.
The Hadith have clearly described the events and the transformations of various countries
in the Middle East and also that of Iran in the age of The Coming.
The video states that America's invasion of Iraq was foretold by Islamic scripture and
that the Mahdi will one day soon rule the world from Iraq. The ongoing upheavals in
other Middle Eastern countries like Yemen and Egypt, including the rise of the Muslim
Brotherhood, are also analyzed as prophetic signs that the Mahdi is near. So is the current
poor health of the king of Saudi Arabia, an Iranian rival.
Isn't the presence of Abdullah, his illness, and his uncertain condition, great news for
those anxious for The Coming?
Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Khomeini, and Hassan Nasrallah, leader of Iran's terrorist
proxy Hezbollah, are hailed as pivotal end times players, whose rise was predicted in
Islamic scriptures. The same goes for Mahmoud Ahmadenijad, who the video says will conquer
Jerusalem prior to the Mahdi's coming. Middle East expert Joel Rosenberg is author of The
Twelfth Imam.
I think it's a very grave development, because it gives you a window into the thinking of
the Iranian leadership: that they believe the time for war against Israel may be even
sooner than others had imagined.
Kahlili says "The Coming is Near" will soon be distributed by the Iranian regime throughout
the Middle East. He says their goal is to instigate further uprisings in Arab countries.
Erick Stakelbeck, CBN News, Washington.
That's a frightening development. Ladies and gentlemen, you have to understand the mindset
of these people. If two-thirds of the people in Iran have to die in a nuclear holocaust,
that's fine, because that means it gets ready for the Mahdi to come. It doesn't matter.
And the Russians didn't want to go to nuclear war with the United States, because they didn't
want to lose their people, and we didn't want to lose ours. That's not true with these fanatics
in Iran. They'd just as soon sacrifice, and if they blow up Israel, they've won a great
victory for the Mahdi. If the Israelis retaliate with nuclear bombs on their own, and if they
take out two-thirds, three-quarters of all the people living in Iran, it won't matter,
because that's the chaos foretold in the mind, the twisted minds of these people about the
coming of their 12th imam, the Mahdi. Don't think this is a fanatical dream world. These
people will make policy based on these scriptures. Whew! Fanaticism, yes. Error, yes. But tragically
it will affect us all. Well, Lee Webb has the rest of our top stories from the CBN Newsroom.
Lee.
Pat, here at home, Congress is heading back to Washington this week, and once again facing
another major budget deadline. The government could shut down partially if no agreement
is reached by a week from Friday. Republicans complain that Democrats have not offered any
serious plan to cut spending. Democrats, meanwhile, call Republican cuts extreme. Potential GOP
presidential candidates attacked big government spending and the new health care law in Iowa
this weekend. Minnesota Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann calls the law the greatest power
grab she's ever seen. CBN News will have an exclusive interview with Bachmann on Wednesday's
700 Club, Pat.
The deficit, ladies and gentlemen, not the budget, but the deficit of the United States
budget, is 1.65 trillion dollars. Trillion. I believe it was Lyndon Johnson who said he
didn't want to be the first president to preside over a 100 billion dollar budget, or maybe
that was Kennedy. One of the two of them. But it shows how far—that was the total
budget of the United States, 100 billion. Now we're talking about a deficit of 1.65
trillion. So the Democrats are saying, "Okay, we will let you have 10 billion dollars in
saving." And they call anything more than that extreme. We're going bankrupt, ladies
and gentlemen. The United States, where are they going to get the money? If they print
it, they will start rampaging inflation. No intelligent nation around the world, China,
Japan, Europe, none of them are going to loan us money under these circumstances. We're
no longer a good credit risk. And our status as the world's reserve currency will be gone
in another—I said before two years are out, because the people in Washington won't do
what is necessary. It's just incredible to me, when you see this train wreck coming,
and people are shouting in alarm. They say, "Well, put more coal on the fire. Let's keep
going." It's insane, utterly insane. But you're in the train, and the engineers are slightly
out of their mind. Lee.
Pat, up to a half million people flooded the streets of London over the weekend to protest
the British government's spending cuts. The cuts are the toughest made since World War
II. Public sector employees, nurses, and campaign groups, among others, marched through central
London, as you can see here. The government acknowledges their concerns, but says they
have to handle the financial problems caused by the Labor Party, and they will not change
course. A separate, more violent rally, broke out when a group of activists clashed with
police in Trafalgar Square. More than 200 people were arrested there.
President Obama addresses the nation tonight to explain the reasoning behind US military
involvement in Libya. The president did not seek congressional approval before he ordered
the no fly zone. Now, lawmakers on both sides want to know how long American forces will
be deployed in that region and how we're going to pay for it. NATO ambassadors have approved
the plan to assume command for all air and ground operations in Libya. That feud is an
important diplomatic victory for the administration.
Israel has deployed the first units of a new anti-missile system. It's called Iron Dome,
and it's designed to protect Israelis from rocket attack by terrorist groups in the Gaza
Strip. Chris Mitchell has that story now from Beersheba, Israel.
For the past 10 years, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and other terror groups have fired thousands
of rockets into southern Israel. This low-grade war has killed and wounded hundreds of Israelis
and spread fear to more than a million. But how do you stop these rocket attacks that
have terrorized your citizens for years? Israel's answer is Iron Dome.
The Iron Dome is part of the effort that Israel as a country is doing in order to deal with
continuous attacks against Israel with the rockets that we saw for the last few years.
The Iron Dome system is the only anti-missile defense system in the world designed to intercept
short range rockets and just one part of Israel's anti-missile defense.
We have the Arrow. We have the Patriot. Underneath that, we have the Iron Dome. And what's still
in development, we have David's Sling or Magic Wand. It has two names. So that's what supposed
to give Israel this complete active air defense.
In the past few weeks, the number of rockets fired out of Gaza has increased significantly.
Some of those rockets, many provided by Iran, have a range of 25 miles or more. That puts
more than a million Israelis in rocket range.
Unfortunately, this is the situation the people of Israel and southern Israel have come to
live under. It's a very unfortunate threat, but again, we're here in order to make sure
that children can sleep at night. People can go to work during the day, and life can go
on as normally as possible.
CBN News has learned Hamas is now acquiring advanced rockets capable or of reaching the
metropolitan areas of Tel Aviv in central Israel. The Iron Dome has passed several tests,
but the Israeli army says the system is still being evaluated, and they cannot guarantee
100 percent success. Still, if it's successful, Iron Dome could transform Israel's security
situation and eliminate the chief weapon Hamas and other terror groups have in their arsenal
against Israel. Chris Mitchell, CBN News, Beersheba.
Israel's vice prime minister says the Palestinian Authority's media and educational systems
contributed to the killing of five members of an Israeli family earlier this month. Moshe
Yaalon tells CBN News that the recent murders of Udi and Ruth Fogel and three of their young
children by Palestinian terrorists is the result of daily anti-Semitic indoctrination
by Mahmoud Abbas's Palestinian Authority.
If this young generation is educated to deny any linkage between the Jewish people and
the land of Israel, and you don't have the right to have a Jewish state, this is the
outcome. It is the outcome of hatred, incitement. It should be changed. And so they are responsible
for this attack as well. They can't deny responsibility.
And we will have more of Erick's exclusive interview with the Israeli vice prime minister
on tomorrow's 700 Club.
Radiation levels at Japan's damaged nuclear power plant have soared, and now Japanese
officials warn that radiation could spread to seawater and soil. Workers at the plant
are racing to pump out the contaminated water. That water has to be removed and safely stored
before work to power up the plant's cooling system can continue. Water in one unit tested
100,000 times more radioactive than normal, all of this leading to fears that the nuclear
crisis in Japan will last months or even years. Pat.
It's amazing, the Japanese rely a great deal on seafood. Fish makes up a big portion of
their diet. And if the waters surrounding Japan are now radioactive. That means the
fish will be radioactive, and so that will be a serious blow.
Well, and where does that stop? Currents flow, and I realize that some of that gets diluted
over a window of time, but still, some fish contaminate other fish. And where does it
end?
Well, it doesn't end for a while until they get that contained. But those currents will
flow right around to the Aleutians into Alaska. The fishing is all over those waters. And
who knows how many people's health is going to be at risk. This is a serious, serious
ecological disaster. Terry.

Plus, a biker in a bad wreck . . . .
We saw a whole bunch of cars stopped. And we knew.
. . . . and on the brink of death.
He was really severely affected by the head trauma and was not expected to survive.
It was very bad.
You've probably heard the bizarre tale of an American missionary who was arrested in
Haiti for charges that nobody is quite sure what they were, just thrown in jail and left
for five months, and even though he was never charged with a crime. Now Danny Pye is back
in Florida, and as Efrem Graham reports, he wants to go back to Haiti.
Bradenton, Florida is 800 miles from Haiti. But it is a world away from the confines of
the Haitian prison, where a judge had Danny Pye locked up in October.
We were called before a judge and literally we asked three questions, and without any
explanation asked for me to be put in handcuffs and brought out.
There is still no legal explanation. Danny and his family have lived in Haiti for seven
years. They run an orphanage with 22 children. They had only gone to court to handle paperwork
for some ministry property.
In the beginning, I would say I embraced prison actually pretty well because, in arrogance,
I believed as an American, how long could they hold me? I am not a criminal. I didn't
commit a crime. I did not hurt anybody. So I assumed maybe five days, maybe seven days.
Danny spent five months and two days locked up in a jail cell not much bigger than this,
10 feet by 12 feet. And he wasn't alone. There were 27 other inmates in this tiny space.
We had 50 guys in there for 30 days at one point.
There were convicted murders, rapists, and even goat thieves in his cell. But as Danny
formed friendships with the inmates, he soon learned there were also many like him behind
bars with no explanation, locked up by the same judge.
That is what began the fear to rise, because there were people there for six years that
have never been convicted of a crime.
Fear grew with the deadly cholera outbreak in October, the floods of Hurricane Thomas
back in November, and a prison break in December, where Danny saw guards beat inmates to death.
(Interviewing): Were you beaten?
I have been tased and I have been shoved and pushed. But I have never been beaten to the
level that they were beaten that day.
Danny being in prison has been the hardest thing I have ever had to go through.
Danny's wife Leann was left alone to run the orphanage alone, prepare to give birth to
their second child, and fight for her husband's release.
Around the middle of his incarceration, I stopped giving him details of all the rabbit
trails that I would run, because when it didn't work out, there is just a lot of pain when
hope dies.
There were a lot of moments of hopelessness, of just wondering really what the purpose
was and why me and why am I going through this?
At those low points, Danny found comfort sharing the Gospel with his cell mates.
Men that were hard killers were on their knees and on the ground, crying out for salvation.
He would later find himself in tears reading the letters his wife delivered almost daily
from the children at their orphanage.
"Dad, this is Nary. We miss you so much."
When guards blocked those letters, she would bring him food and write the messages on the
foil wrapping.
"I spoke with some friends in the United States, and they're looking at raising some funds
to help pay for another lawyer.
An American pastor jailed in Haiti says he doesn't know why he's in prison.
The news of Danny's imprisonment began to reach more people in the United States in
February after his wife returned to Florida to have their son.
Having to go on that plane was the hardest thing I ever had to do, because it felt like
no one was going to push. No one was going to be there.
But believers began to fast, pray, and lobby politicians for help. That cry soon connected
a prominent Haitian attorney with the American Center for Law and Justice. Together, they
negotiated Danny's release.
It was all very quick. We thought that release was going to happen pretty much every week
for really five months and then all of a sudden it happened.
Danny didn't quite believe it, until he was on a plane headed for Florida March 17 to
join his wife and four-year-old daughter. He arrived just in time. Leann gave birth
to their son just two days later. This has been a happy Florida reunion, but mom and
dad say the family will not be complete until they are all back in Haiti.
We made a promise to 22 kids that we were going to be their mom and dad until they're
through high school and ready to be adults. And we don't plan on breaking that promise.
They are now only waiting for baby Joseph's passport. Efrem Graham, CBN News, Bradenton,
Well, Efrem, I appreciate that story. And ladies and gentlemen, I appreciate the fact
that Danny is out. But doesn't it shock you? The government in Haiti is hopelessly corrupt.
The system is corrupt. The elections are rigged. It just breaks your heart to see what's happening,
and to think that a judge could do that, not only to Danny, but to many other people, and
not be held accountable for it. The United States is putting up a lot of money to keep
Haiti afloat, and the least we can do is demand that they have some reforms, that will correct
this kind of corruption that's in that particular judiciary. I haven't talked to our people
at the ACLJ to find out what they did to get him out, but I'm sure that there's reason
somewhere up the line in the Haitian government.
Well, amazing timing, but he did get out in time to see his son born. But maybe that was
the purpose for Danny being there, was to bring to light the fact that there were so
many others like him in there without ever having been tried appropriately.
Haiti is just a basket case. There are still, after that earthquake that took place a year
or so ago, there are still over a million people living in tents. And the place is just
Well, there was so much poverty before that happened. You wonder how that gets fixed.
As I've said, there's one island. It's called Hispaniola. On the one hand, Dominican Republic,
prosperous, flourishing. On the other hand is Haiti, desperately poor. Same island, same
weather, same climate.

Gary and Diane Heavin are fitness gurus and the founders of the Curves franchises But
recently, they went undercover for a very different job.
We take our wealth really seriously. Yes, we might have a nice home, and we have a few
toys, fun things. We get to travel a little bit. But it's really important that we give
back.
That's why Curves International founders Gary and Diane Heavin jumped at the chance to go
undercover on ABC's Secret Millionaire. Their mission: live in one of the country's poorest
areas, identify people making a difference in their community, and help them with their
mission.
I'm a little anxious, honey.
Yes. That's okay. We should be.
For six days, Gary and Diane lived in Houston's third ward neighborhood, staying in a one
bedroom home, and living on a welfare level income.
Okay, ready?
Yes.
Well, please welcome to The 700 Club Curves founder Gary Heavin and his wife, Diane. I
love this program. It's so fun that you guys have done this and that we're actually going
to get to see it next week, is when your part of the show airs. How did you get involved
with this?
Well, after quite a few interviews and conversations with ABC, we decided that the show had an
amazing message of giving back. And they were going to highlight the people in communities
and organizations that give back so selflessly. And we were going to be able to seek these
people out and find them and then give them a gift, perhaps. And it was just amazing.
What a great opportunity. Now, Gary, you went to Houston. You were sent to Houston's third
ward. What was that like?
Well, I'm from Houston. And to go back and see Houston in that way was pretty shocking.
And Diane said it well, that we just aren't used to seeing poverty in America.
It's amazing how isolated you are if you're not living right in the middle of that kind
of challenge. How did you convince people that you actually were interested in their
community, that you were poor, that you were there to help serve? How did you pull that
off, Diane?
Well, after a few nights of no sleep and eating little, I looked the part pretty good, I think.
Was there ever a point where you felt like people kind of questioned whether you were
legit or not?
I don't think so. Although we had a big camera crew following us around. We told them that
we were filming a documentary on volunteering. And so I think they believed that.
And we had a cover story, which was pretty cool, was we had to be able to convince people
we were also poor. And the cover story was kind of neat. We simply went back 20 years
in our life when we were poor. And so Diane and I, and we were the only couple that did
the show, we would be in different rooms with different people. We could actually open up
about ourselves, because we had the story.
You had a history. In some way, that's also like an added blessing, I'm sure, for people
who have become successful, but go and do what you did as to remember where you were
before you got there. We have a clip, Diane, showing you giving a pair of sunglasses to
a young man. Tell us what we're going to see here.
This is like probably my favorite clip. This is a young man I met at the Sean Ashley house.
His name is Justin. And we had probably a couple of full days with him and throughout
those days he kept telling me he wanted a pair of sunglasses, kind of like he'd just
like point to his nose, and that kind of meant that he wanted a pair of sunglasses. So at
the end of the reveal, we decided we'd pick up a pair of sunglasses and give him the sunglasses.
And I'm telling you, it is a tearjerker. It is a great scene.
Let's take a look at what Diane is talking about.
Justin, I've got a surprise for you. You remembered. Here you go. Can I put them on?
He remembers everything. Trust me.
Thank you.
That one got me.
That was wonderful.
Is that the most emotional moment? And it was over a pair of sunglasses.
Yes. I know.
I think that's one of the things that happens throughout the show when you watch. I've watched
several of these shows. And you just do wind up being so touched by not just the gratitude
of people who receive at the end of the program, but just by the heart of people who are giving
on a daily basis. You worked a lot with local charities. How did you decide, Gary, who you'd
work with?
They had to go ahead of us and kind of screen some organizations and then let us kind of
discover them.
Kind of pick and choose?
Yes, and choose. And we were free to do that. One of the main reasons we did the show is
that so much on television right now about defects in people. Jersey Shore. There is
some stuff out there that somehow people find entertaining. We believe, when you see the
show, you're going to agree, that doing good is interesting. And we get to show off these
wonderful people and organizations that do good every single day. And it's great TV.
The show is actually a hit.
And one of the things I think that strikes me as I watch it is the opportunity we would
all have to get up out of our chairs watching senseless stuff that we probably shouldn't
be watching on television and go down and make a difference like you all had an opportunity
to, just in service. Even if you don't have the ability to bless someone financially,
just in standing alongside of them and serving. How would they respond when they found out
that you weren't actually poor?
You know what, I think they were actually quite happy for us, that we were successful.
But they weren't mad at all. They were just really happy and quite surprised. But they
knew something was in store.
But what did you take away from all of this, Gary? Having an opportunity to bless people
who are doing good things, but struggling every day, struggling the good fight to make
a difference. How did that impact you?
In several ways. First of all, we realized that you don't have to have money to do good.
And these people who took their time and their love were doing good in amazing ways every
day, and doing it in interesting ways. A quick example was one of the organizations, No More
Victims, took children of incarcerated parents and worked with them to break the cycle. And
it's stuff you don't think about. But it was a tremendous need that really money was not
that significant. You had to have somebody who loved these kids and was willing to care
for them.
To be committed, to engage in the process. Well, Curves has always engaged in the needs
of the communities where your franchises are established. And I understand you've got your—is
it your 13th annual food drive coming up? And that's helping food banks around the country.
That's right. Yes.
Especially at a difficult time. So we want people to know that they can find out. If
you want to find out more about that food drive, if you're participating in a curves
near your area or you have a heart for the need of people in your community, go to CBN.com
and we'll tell you how you can get involved in the Curves food drive.

great to see you, and what a wonderful opportunity to do something that matters. That's great.

CBN's WorldReach had a premiere showing of its Superbook video series in Costa Rica.
Superbook is an animated children's Bible series. It's being translated into multiple
languages around the world. In Costa Rica, nearly 1,000 children gathered for the annual
Fun Festival put on by the City of God Church. Pastors taught a lesson on obedience. Then
the children were shown the Superbook episode called "In the Beginning." It illustrates
the consequences of sin and the importance of obedience. The children were said to be
very receptive, as you can see there, one little girl saying how special it was to watch
the episode and know that even when she sins, she can repent and be forgiven. And you can

And I didn't really know what to do with that information at the time. It was intriguing,
but it was also repulsive at the same time. But *** didn't really get too big
of a hold on me until I was married several years later.
Once Donny became an adult, *** became his god.
And once a computer entered my house and my wife was at work or asleep, I started really
getting into it. It just consumed my life. It consumed all my thoughts. I was even using
bonus money that I earned at work to finance a part-time *** career, because I wanted
to get involved in this business, I liked it so much. So I was doing *** production
part-time behind my wife's back for a total of three years.
Donny's part-time business was thriving. He knew he had to tell his wife about his double
I told my wife in a phone call from a *** convention and that's all she wanted to hear,
She was, "We're over. You need to get in counseling if you want any shot at keeping your family."
When I returned from that convention in Phoenix, Arizona I just moved right into my office
for a while until I found a house to live in. And the very first month that I didn't
have to hide it anymore, I brought in 50,350 dollars. I was like, "I'm not going back."
I was fueled by hatred and bitterness and money.
Donny developed a hatred toward God when he was just a child.
God seemed to be a list of rules and regulations instead of someone that you had a relationship
with. He was the reason that I couldn't go to school dances or out on dates or even to
spend the night with friends, so God became someone that I despised, because the same
people that would be telling me that in church, I would hear what their lives were really
like when my parents openly spoke about it in our home. And so I saw them as such hypocrites,
wanted nothing to do with that, absolutely despised it, and began to really resent God.
As Donny turned his back on God, he embraced his new career, now making thousands of dollars
per day.
The party life kept continuing. But I wasn't totally stonehearted. I still had a lot of
compassion for the girls I was recruiting. I started receiving phone calls from girls
who would be in tears. And they'd be begging me to remove the content that we'd produced
of them, because it was destroying their life. And you'd see these bright-eyed girls who
would come in to do work they thought was cool. Our society now tells them it's okay.
And then over the course of time you couldn't help but watch the lights go out in their
eyes. And that's really what happened. The bright-eyed eyes would become dull, because
that's the reality of ***.
Donny despised the man he had become. Then he met people from Triple X Church at an unlikely
place, a *** convention in Vegas.
"They would hand out Bibles, and the Bibles would say on the cover, Jesus Loves *** Stars.
And on the back it says, "Does Jesus really love *** stars?" It says, "Absolutely." The
Christians I grew up around would never talk to a *** producer, much less broadcast it
to their listeners. But they were doing things in such a different way. They were actually
loving people. And it was such a non-confrontational approach. I couldn't help but say, "If I was
going to be a Christian, this is the kind of Christian I'd want to be."
Donny found himself at a spiritual crossroad. He quit the *** business, but that didn't
give him the peace he desperately wanted.
Two weeks after I stopped producing *** was when I actually surrendered my life to God.
And so that's exactly what I did is I had that prayer right in my car. And I surrendered
my life to Him. I asked Him to take control. I asked Him to forgive me of everything I'd
done. It didn't mean it was easy, though. It's not like I surrendered my life to God
and everything turned rosy. I was at peace, the most peace I'd ever had in my life. But
I was also in a hugely painful emotional state. But it was so peaceful at the same time. It
felt kind of like detox.
Donny didn't get back with his wife, but he's determined to keep moving forward with God's
help. He started going to church and he also began a new marketing business from his home
office.
One of the things that I like to tell people who are struggling with an addiction to ***,
or just about any other thing in their life, is that it's really true that there's nothing
that you could do that would change the fact that God loves you and wants to redeem you.
It's kind of like a parent who is watching their toddler learn to walk. And the toddler
might fall down several times a day, but there's never a good parent that ever says, "This
walking thing isn't for you. You should probably stay down there on the floor." But yet, some
of us want to think that God's that way and that our sin separates us from Him to such
an extreme that He would never redeem us. But that's not true. There's nothing that
we could do that would change the fact that when we turn to Him, and we ask Him to help
us stand back up, He's right there, willing to pick us up.
Isn't it marvelous that we've got a God who forgives? Isn't it wonderful that you can
stand before a holy God? I was reading today in the book of Revelation. It talks about
what's called "the great white throne judgment." In the end of time, God is going to create
a new heaven and a new earth, and before he does that, all of the people on earth are
going to stand before God in this great white throne, and the Bible says the books are going
to be opened and people are going to be judged on account of what they've done and what they
haven't done. Death and Hell will be cast into the lake of fire, and then it says all
those who are not written in the Lamb's book of life will be cast into the lake of fire
on account of what they've done. It's a horrible prospect. But what does Jesus say? Get this
very carefully. He says, "He that hears my word and believes on Him who has sent me has
everlasting life and shall not come into judgment, but is passed from death into life, " So we
don't have to wait until the great white throne judgment and stand in awe before a holy, righteous
God who's bringing the books of everything we've ever done. Thank God we don't have to
do that if we‘ll come to Jesus and say, "I confess my sin. I did wrong. I've done
these things and now, Lord, I pray that You will accept me. I take You as savior and your
death was in place of my sin. You've paid the price for me." Somebody said, "Jesus took
the rap for me." Now, which is it going to be? Do you want to go to the great white throne
judgment? It's going to happen to everybody. There's not going to be one person who is
going to escape it. Every single human being will stand before the great white throne to
account for everything he's done or she's done in the flesh, in the body. But, the ones
who are in the Lamb's book of life won't go into that judgment. They've passed already
from death into life. Now, which do you want? Which do you want? You've got to decide. It's
going to happen one way or the other. Which way do you want it? Well, if you say, "I want
to be in the Lamb's Book of life. How do you do it?" You surrender to Jesus Christ right
now and you believe in Him and Him who sent Him. If you'll pray with me right now, He
will hear your prayer and your name can be written in the Lamb's book of life. Bow your
head and pray right now, these words, "Lord Jesus." That's right, pray with me. "Lord
Jesus, I don't want to stand before the great white throne judgment and run the risk of
being cast into hell. I believe you died for me, Jesus. I believe you rose again, and I
believe that the Father God sent you. I believe it, Lord, and right now I receive you as my
Savior and I make you the Lord of my life. I repent of the sins that I have committed
and I ask for your cleansing. Thank you, Lord, that you've heard my prayer and thank you,
Lord, that you have come into my life, and from this moment on, I'm yours. Thank you
that my name is written in the Lamb's book of life. Thank you, Lord. Thank you." Amen.
Now, if you prayed that prayer, it's the most important prayer you'll ever pray. And you
can rejoice at the promises of God.
But, you need to know what you've done, what's happened to you. "If any man is in Christ,"
the apostle Paul said, "he's a new creation. Old things have passed away. Behold, all has
become new." Now, I've got something called A New Day.
It's a CD, compact disk, 73 minutes. It tells you all of the things that your decision means
and what is going to happen next. What about the second coming of Jesus? What about the
baptism of the Sprit? It's all in here. I'll give this to you free, but if you prayed with
me, I want you to go to your phone right now. Don't wait. Pick up the phone, call in, and
say, "I just prayed with Pat. I don't want to go into that great white throne judgment.
I'm gonna live for Jesus from this moment on." 1-800-759-0700. The person on the other
end of the line will be thrilled with the decision you've made. It doesn't cost you
any money. No obligation. If you don't even want to give your name, that's fine, but just
call in now. And if you're on the Internet, you can log in to CBN.com. The angels of Heaven
are rejoicing over the decisions that you've just made. Terry.

one of them was breaking.
I had to reassure her a lot that I'm going to be okay. Things are going to be all right.

Well, I want to introduce you to a hardworking teenager who had to literally work around-the-clock,
all because his mom couldn't pay a $20 debt.
Every day after school, Ma Tam's 12-year-old son, Zin Mantat, stops by to help his mom
at the roadside café where she works. Wearing her traditional Burmese makeup, Ma Tam told
us about their struggles.
It has been very hard and we don't make enough money.
Ma Tam is a single mom. A series of emergencies had gotten her into debt with no way to repay
it. So, her son, Zin Mantat, decided to quit school and go to work for a local baker. The
baker paid off Ma Tam's debts in exchange for the boy's work. What Ma Tam didn't know
was how badly the owner of the bakery would treat her son.
They made me sleep in the kitchen, where the mosquitos bit me. I had to get up very early
to work, and I would cry each night because I missed my mother so much. But, I knew I
had to keep working there without pay to pay back our debts.
Ma Tam began to pray and ask God for a way to rescue her son.
I was born a Christian, but it was just a religion. It was not until this happened to
me that I grew close to Jesus.
Operation Blessing heard about Ma Tam's plight and quickly paid off her debt to the baker,
just $20 US dollars.
Thank you so much to CBN, because I can now stay with my mother.
And, to help her get back on her feet financially, CBN gave Ma Tam a grant to start her own,
larger café. That's made it possible for Zin Mantat to go back to school.
After that bakery job, I knew I needed to go to school. Now, my dream is coming true.
One day, I hope to have a good job to be able to help my mom.
Twenty dollars. Twenty dollars. You know, if you become a 700 Club member, that's $0.65
cents a day, that's $20 a month. That means one month of your membership set this child
free, allowed him to go back to school, and your ongoing gift allowed us to set that mom
up in a business of her own.
We're doing that in the lives of thousands of people all around the world everyday, and

the world, and we'll send this out to you immediately, and thank you in advance for

Well, we've got some online questions for you.
Are you ready?
Bring it on!
This is Jodi, who says, "Can you tell me what you think a globalist is from the Christian
perspective, and how the globalist agenda is affecting the church today?"
Well, I think it depends on what you mean by the definition, because it could mean many
things. But, I think most people are thinking a globalist is one who wants to encompass
the world, and not have individual nation states, and wants to have a one world government.
I think that's what you're talking about. From a Christian perspective, I think it's
dangerous and I'll tell you why. Because Satan would much rather deal with one unified body
than a whole bunch of nations, so if he could get a little group of people, and manipulate
them to control the world, that would be better. You see many of these cults, the theosophists,
and various spiritist groups; they always talk about the one world. The new world order
is what they talk about, the new world order. Well, that's what Satan wants. What else?
Well, this is Alvin, who has a question that I'm sure lots of people would like to hear
your perspective on, Pat. He says, "Do you think its right to interfere in Libya?"
I don't know what's right or wrong any longer. There's a great problem with the persecution
of minorities in Saudi, Arabia. There's persecution in Syria.
North Korea, yeah.
Oh, there's terrible persecution in North Korea, I mean, unbelievable persecution. So,
how do we know which one to go into and which not to? Well, we pick and choose, and I don't
know, except …
Well, one of the instances here is that there was a faction of people that rose up and cried
out, and said, "Please help us."
Well, if that's what it takes, but you know, the people rose up in Iran and we didn't go
in to help them. As a matter of fact, we didn't even send them a message of encouragement
as far as Obama. What right do we have? Well, you can say it's humanitarian and they asked
for our help, but, so …
It's a hard line to draw.
He's a wicked dictator, but he can't hold a candle to Saddam Hussein, nor can he hold
a candle to Kim Jong Il.
Well, this is Carol, who wants to know, "Is it safe to keep my money invested in United
States Savings Bonds, or should I get my money out of there?"
I would run as fast as you can and get it out of there. Those things are going to do
nothing but lose money. Sure, you'll get your money back in dollars, but the dollars are
going down dramatically in value and the interest rates you get on bonds are just pathetic.
Next to nothing.
So, there are so many other ways of making more money. I mean, there are organizations
that have dividends much higher, sound, sound companies, who can pay three times what the
Treasury pays, so unless there's some gimmick that you know in terms of your financial organization
dealing with treasuries where you need them, I'd get out as fast as you could. What else?
Yeah. This is a question from Mike. He says, "I live paycheck-to-paycheck. I want to make
more money, but I know the Bible says that, ‘The love of money is the root of all evil.'
Am I wrong for wanting more wealth?"
I don't think so. The Bible says, "I pray that you might prosper as your soul prospers."
I think God wants his people to prosper. A love of money is one thing. I mean, you're
absorbed with money, you love money. But, there's nothing wrong with having gainful
employment and prospering. The great saints of the Old Testament, Abraham and Isaac and
Jacob, all prospered. Moses prospered. David prospered. Solomon prospered. There's nothing
wrong with that.
Well, we just saw Gary and Diane Heavins today, and a tremendous work they're doing, and it's
because they've prospered, and they love God, and they care about people.
If a man is drowning and you're out drowning with him, you're not going to help him much.
But, if you're in a boat, you can reach down and pull him into the boat.
Pull him up, absolutely.
So, how do you help the poor? Well, the best way is to have a little something to help
them with. What else?
Okay, this is Deborah, who says, "My sister is single and financially unstable. She wastes
money all the time. Still, she expects me and the rest of our family to subsidize her
lifestyle. She cites I Timothy 5:8 which says that ‘anyone who does not provide for their
relatives is worse than an unbeliever.' Am I wrong for refusing to give her money? Does
that make me worse than an unbeliever?"
No. The Bible says, "If anybody would not work, let them not eat." There are other scriptures.
Actually, you're enabling her not to have to be responsible.
Exactly! You're participating in her way. No way! You're not under any obligation to
take care of a wasted lifestyle. You just don't have to do that. She's misusing the
Bible. "If any man will not work, let them not eat." That's the Bible. We leave you today
with these words from Psalms 55, . . . .
. . . . "Cast your burden on the Lord and He shall sustain you." What a wonderful God!
And people are still calling, still meeting Jesus. Our phones are available even though
the program's off the air. We'll see you tomorrow. Bye, bye.
